I tried to return a bottle of Listerine that was listed at $6.99 in a flyer that ended today Jan. 28th, 2026 in the N.E. Calgary London Drugs location. They would not refund the difference in the price. The day before I had been charged $9.99 and the customer service associate told me that the sale was last week. In the flyer under the picture of listerine it says On Select Items. The words are so small you can barely read them. I no longer trust their flyer advertisemnts.
I returned for a passport photo at a local store but found black ink on my previous photo. When I explained this, the staff member accused me of causing the issue. Despite my attempts to clarify, her anger escalated. Feeling uncomfortable, I chose to return another day for a different photographer. Her insistence on her professionalism was misplaced, as true professionals don’t make clients feel this way. It's unacceptable to encounter such rudeness when paying for a service.
I returned to a local store for a passport photo. After receiving my photo last week, I noticed black ink on it. When I explained this to a clerk, she accused me of causing it. Despite my attempts to remain calm, her attitude became increasingly rude. I decided not to continue with such an unpleasant photographer and requested to return another day. She insisted she was the best in the store, but a true professional shouldn't make clients feel uncomfortable. No one deserves to deal with such arrogance.
I used to enjoy shopping at this store, as the staff were long-term and helpful. However, the shelves are now mostly empty, even weeks after the holidays. They've also discouraged using the customer service desk, leading to awkward cashier interactions. Additionally, there are outdated sale prices on shelves, and the checkout staff often seem indifferent. It feels like customers are more of a nuisance than a priority.
The points program feels like a joke; it takes spending thousands just to earn a measly $20, which is absurd. I prefer shopping where I can spend a few hundred to get the same reward. It's not worth it! Either improve this program or scrap it entirely; it's just disappointing.
I purchased a Square Reader and felt frustrated with the registration process. At 80 years old, I found the tech challenging. However, Kam was incredibly patient and helpful. I was worried he might not want to assist me after multiple visits, but he greeted me with a smile and offered his help. Thank you, Kam!
