Review Time
Lauren at LYP gave an impeccable service. I found a flat within a month of my current tenancy ending, she was very friendly and professional and answered any questions I had clearly and kept me informed of any updates with the property. The move has been smooth and easy,The staff at the office were also friendly and made me feel welcome, Lauren is a credit to the team.
I recently started to search for a good agency to find a house and this has been the best so far, they have friendly and nice agents who helped me to find a really good offer, I really recommend love your post code if u want to get it easy and quick.
Loves it, best agency ever. Explanations were clear, user friendly website, the agent I spoke to was super nice and I got what I feel is the best possible offer in the market 😍 this is my second time with Love Your Postcode and so far the experience has been great.
Love Your Postcode has been managing my property for the last 5 years and I could not have asked for something better. Good communication, always paid my rent on time and maintain my property excellent. Would absolutely recommend these guys!!! Lovely doing business with them.
My experience with Loveyourpostcode is similar to the review below, my house was on sale with LoveYourPostcode for 135k and the details of my case are as below. In March 2018 I was looking to sell my house in West Bromwich. I chose to use Love Your Postcode as they were advertising heavily at the time and they caught my attention. I visited their offices and met a man who introduced himself as Asif Kola.I was attracted to the lower fee of £890 and decided to use them to sell my house. I signed a contract to sell my house that was also signed by Asif Kola on behalf of Love Your Postcode. The target price for the property was £135,000 and if the property sold above the target price that would be a performance fee paid to Love Your Postcode. The performance fee calculation is mentioned in the small print which could be up to 10%. The property was then marketed at the price agreed of £135,000. On the 25th April Bobby Singh left me a Voicemail offering 127k, I then on 26th April emailed him to say '127k sounds ok' thinking that this is what the purchaser was offering and you would normally trust an Estate Agent to pass on the correct offer. 8th May I emailed Bobby to ask him how the sale was progressing and he sent me details of the sale including a statement in there saying 'Total due to Love Your Postcode Group Ltd from yourself will be £10,000.00 at completion. ' but before that on 26th April he said the fee is paid by the buyer 'Just formalising our Performance&™ fee with the buyer. ' This made me think something is not right here. Same day on 8th I asked him about clarification on the fee ie 10k due from me as I thought the buyer pays it and also a copy of the Valuation Report to see what the actual price the buyer would be paying.10th May 2018 I emailed Bobby stating the fee was too high and the following - 'If what we sign on with the solicitors is a selling price of 137k and I get a net of 127k that effectively makes the fee 7% ie your commission (other estate agents quoted me max 2.5k fees) , I would prefer the fee is lower so I get a higher net please, let me know if you can do that? 'The same day Bobby Singh emailed me back to say he could not do anything (ie get me more than 127k) as the valuation report does not support the higher price. After I received this Bobby Singh emailed me with a the Valuation Report that I had asked for on the 8th but it was blurry I requested a better copy of the valuation report by email and on the 11th May 2018 I received another copy of the valuation that showed the value as £137,000. Seeing the valuation report confused me as to why Bobby was offering only 127k to me and as far as I was concerned he was not being truthful about what the buyer was offering. I wanted to walk away from the sale. Bobby Singh told me that he will chase me for the fee if the sale fell through Also he gave me the option of withdrawing from the sale via a text msg but then starting getting his solicitors to chase me for the 10k fee I felt pressurised into agreeing the lower price of £127,000 as Bobby would not let me get out of this sale ie by getting his solicitors to chase me for 10k if I withdrew and not offering me more than 127k even though the property was worth 137k. I agreed to the lower price and signed a new contract on the 22nd May 2018 which was countersigned on behalf Love Your Postcode by Bobby Singh. It was also costing me money in mortgage and council tax payments that added to the pressure and also I could not get another estate agent to market the property either due to sole selling rights. I feel I have been ripped off and forced into accepting a price I did not want as the house clearly was worth £137,000 as that is what it sold for. Another email of 2/3/19 was sent by me to Bobby Singh when I was still questioning this fee after the property was sold and Bobby said he could only sell the property once I accepted the revised required price of £127000 which further proves that he was forcing me into accepting a lower price. If I had known that Bobby Singh was listed as PROHIBITED from Estate Agent Work on the National Estate Register I would not have used LoveYourPostcode to sell my house. He clearly wanted to rip me off by telling me the wrong offer price and although he said in emails he could not sell my house locally and sold it to a buyer from Surrey he still in my opinion lied about the offer price and ripped me off.You can google Amerjit Singh Dhuga and can see he is banned from estate agent work for good reason - and will see articles where he admitted to to 26 offences including three under the Fraud Act in the past.
Our house was for sale with LYP. The for sale price was 240k and there were a lot of viewings.Bobby Singh told us the highest offer was 225k and the rest were a lot lower offers. As we were in a chain I accepted and when I went to sign the contracts the sale price was written down as 240k. I queried this and he became rude, aggressive and told me I had accepted 225k.He told us the 15k was his PERFORMANCE FEES and on top of that we also paid the usual estate agent commission fees. The sale went through and I got in touch with the buyer who told me LYP told them the seller would not go a penny below sale price of 240k. I am glad Birmingham Mail has reported this man and his company. Please type in love your post code birmingham mail into google.
