Avoid this website. It is a Chinese company hiding behind a European front.The item I received looked nothing like the product shown on the website or described in the listing. It was not a minor difference. It was clearly the wrong item.When I contacted customer service, they initially tried to insist that the item was correct, despite it obviously not matching the photos or description. Only after further back-and-forth did they finally admit it was wrong. At that point, they then tried to charge me for the cost of returning it.Under UK consumer law, if a company sends you goods that are not as described, the seller is responsible for the return and must provide a full refund. They are not allowed to make the customer pay return postage for their own mistake.This company tried to deny responsibility, mislead me about what I had received, and then shift their costs onto the customer. That is not acceptable and not legal in the UK.Extremely poor service, misleading advertising, and behaviour that raises serious red flags. I would strongly recommend avoiding this site altogether.
Do not buy from this company- it is a scam. They advertise products using photos from reputable companies and then send something completely different. When you contact them to ask for a refund, they make it near on impossible, offering 30% of the price back and you keep the item they have sent (which in my case was a flimsy plastic star worth under £1). I have contacted my bank, who have been very helpful and taken the dispute on on my behalf, and would advise others to do the same so that the company can be shut down.
Same as commenters below, this website is running a scam, sending customers the wrong product on purpose then refusing to honour their own returns policy to browbeat you into letting them keep your money. I have had to contact my bank to help me resolve this, and I advise others impacted to do the same.
I ordered a coat stand and it took forever to arrive. When it arrived it was damaged. Although the company says it's in the Netherlands the item came from China. The policy clearly states that damaged goods will be replaced or a refund given. Lumin-lights are denying my refund and say I have to pay for returning it. No I don't. The consumer rights act says I am entitled to a full refund as the item is damaged. I'm still in dispute with them and wiil be taking this further if they don't refund me. Do not order from this company. Luckily consumers are protected by the consumer rights act. I have sent them photos of their own policy stating that I am entitled to a refund. Very poor customer service and very slow to reply to emails.
I enquired about two ceiling light pendants (Lumin Nord, white 60cm) on 6th November from Lumin-Lights.com who have contact details in The Netherlands - confirmed they are in stock and delivery in 7-10 days. I was assured returns would be 'OK' and would be handled if/when that is needed. No bulb type mentioned in the info - enquired again E27 OK. Each time customer service is very slow, no answer to their phone. I ordered the lights and was sent a tracking number - FROM CHINA! So buyers beware - this company professes to have a Netherlands address for the 'Scandi' light look but in reality they send products from China with the inevitable wait. It's very frustrating.
