Luxe Tribe made our first visit to Cape Town an unforgettable bucket list experience. Elizabeth, Joseph, Chris and Sean were the dream team of hosts. Every detail was thought of and when unexpected flight delays occurred they were quick to pivot. This was the best cultural experience we could have had, history, luxury, safari, music, dancing you name it we experienced it all.
Traveling with Luxe Tribes to Lisbon was nothing short of extraordinary. I first heard about Luxe Tribes through a friend who had traveled with them to Bali, and from the moment I arrived in Portugal, I understood exactly why she spoke so highly of them. The ability to book my own flights while having every detail thoughtfully curated by Gabriel & his team from arrival to departure created the perfect balance of freedom and ease. This was not your typical tour or travel package — it was something far more intentional, personal, and elevated.
This trip was especially meaningful as it was a celebration of my 40th birthday, shared with my best friend who was also celebrating her milestone. We love traveling together and collecting new countries, and Luxe Tribes made this celebration feel luxurious, seamless, unique, and truly transformative.
Every experience was beautifully curated. Our guides were exceptional, and standout moments included the unforgettable Fado dinner, the magical day exploring Sintra and Cascais, and an intimate wine experience in Setúbal — easily one of our favorite days. What impressed me most, however, was when a small snag arose in our itinerary. Gabriel and his team pivoted effortlessly, creating a last-minute experience that turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip. That level of care, responsiveness, and attention is rare.
From the impeccable communication to the spectacular boutique accommodations, every detail felt intentional. The thoughtful surprises — flowers, a personalized note, and champagne — made us feel celebrated and seen. At every moment, I felt genuinely taken care of, never once left to figure things out on my own. It truly felt like this trip was designed specifically for me. To me, that is luxury personified.
I left Lisbon filled with joy, beautiful memories, and fresh inspiration. And the greatest testament to my experience? I’ve already booked my next Luxe Tribes journey to Greece. They are now my go-to for travel.

Once we arrived in Morocco, our tour guide Siad was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, warm, patient, and professional, he made us feel safe and genuinely welcomed. He educated us on Morocco’s rich history as we explored, navigated the medina and souks with ease, and never missed a moment when it came to capturing memories for our girls’ trip.

The activities were thoughtfully curated — hot air balloon, ATVs, camel ride, museums, palace visits, and an authentic cooking class. The details were evident.
Two areas fell short for me: the hammam spa included in the package and the boutique hotel. The hammam felt overcrowded and lacked the relaxing, luxe atmosphere you expect from that experience. I had experienced a hammam earlier upon arrival in Morocco, so I had something to compare it to — and this one simply didn’t measure up.
The boutique hotel also had challenges: some rooms lacked air conditioning, a few had drainage issues, and there were noticeable odors in certain bathrooms. The staff did work to relocate guests once concerns were raised. The spa services and rooftop restaurant were highlights, but overall the property didn’t feel as luxe as anticipated.
Despite those setbacks, I would still recommend LuxeTribes for curating a Morocco experience. With some refinement in spa and hotel partnerships, the experience could easily be exceptional from start to finish.
The experience was extremely well coordinated and having a guide from Colombia made the experience even better. Our guide was AMAZING and she really made us feel safe and showed us a great time alongside her husband and brother. Having each of them made the experience unique.
The Hotel OSH was fabulous from the rooms to the food.
I feel that the trip was well worth the money. The excursions were so cool from visiting palenque to the mud volcano. The food was so so so good!

Our Thailand trip was amazing, and Luxe Tribes did an excellent job planning the experience. From start to finish, we felt extremely safe throughout our travels. Having private drivers pick us up and take us everywhere we needed to go made the trip seamless and stress-free. The itinerary was followed exactly as planned, which we truly appreciated.
We had an unexpected medical emergency and Luxe did a great job at accommodating our needs.
The only constructive feedback we have is that each hotel attempted to charge an unexpected deposit fee. Luxe Tribes handled the bookings, this additional cost was not disclosed in advance. Additionally, not all guest names were initially listed on the hotel reservations, which caused minor delays during check-in. That said, these issues were addressed and resolved quickly.
Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and we’re grateful for the level of care and organization Luxe Tribes provided.
My trip to South Africa with the service was remarkable from start to finish. The organization, coordination, and activities were all flawless. CAUTION: UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND LAST-MINUTE CANCELLATION I was genuinely looking forward to my trip to celebrate a significant achievement, but my experience with the service provider was incredibly disappointing and marred by unethical behavior and unexpected price hikes. 1. Initial Pricing Was Clearly Stated — Then Altered Later The trip was arranged directly by the CEO, who provided all pricing details in writing. I received an email confirming: • $4,200 • Included: hotel, meals, and all activities • Everything was transparent and itemized However, when I requested to extend my stay, the CEO sent a follow-up email stating: • Additional days: $1,700 • Included: hotel + a list of activities Based on these communications, I paid a total of $6,200. 2. One Week Before My Trip — Attempted Price Increases About a week prior to my trip, the provider tried to impose new fees that were never mentioned before: • $300 per activity • Adding up to over $2,500 in extra charges This meant I would have ended up paying more for the extra days than for the original trip. Even worse, the same activities they tried to charge $300 for were available elsewhere for $20–$40, showcasing clear price gouging. 3. After I Raised Concerns — My Trip Was Canceled When I questioned these last-minute fees, the CEO abruptly canceled my entire trip. The cancellation felt more like retaliation than a professional decision. The message I received stated: “In light of these factors, we will not proceed with the arrangements for your trip. A full refund will be processed shortly, taking 5–10 days.”
— CEO, Service Provider This occurred despite the fact that: • My flights were booked and non-refundable • Other arrangements were made • I had fully paid based on their confirmed pricing Canceling a fully paid trip simply because a client questions unjust fees is unprofessional and unacceptable. 4. This Experience Exposed Troubling Business Practices My experience highlighted: • Price gouging • Unethical last-minute changes • Lack of transparency • Retaliatory actions when concerns were raised • Unprofessional client communication No traveler should face sudden fees, inflated costs, or cancellations shortly before departure, especially after fulfilling payment obligations based on the provider’s own agreements. ⭐ CONCLUSION This was the most disappointing travel-planning experience I've encountered. The actions of the CEO were unprofessional and damaging. I plan to: • Consult with an attorney • File a complaint with the appropriate regulatory body • Share this experience to inform others I strongly advise fellow travelers to be extremely cautious when considering this service.
