8 months later, and I still think about this trip! I was solo travelling through Asia and had been following Maganda Experience for a while when they announced their first-ever trip to Siargao in the Philippines! I immediately signed up, and to say it was the BEST part of my whole trip is an understatement. The girls I met on this trip were from all over the world and were amazing from day 1. The experiences we shared, not just learning to surf but also embracing Filipino culture and having an incredible time on this amazing island, are memories I will remember forever. Silvia is an absolute GEM and an incredible hostess for our trip and now a life-long friend. I hope every girl gets the opportunity to experience this trip for themselves!
My experience with Maganda Experience was amazing. I was really nervous about doing a trip like this on my own—especially since it was my first time diving—but from day one I felt completely welcomed. Silvia is an incredible organizer, you can tell she puts her heart into everything. The locations were absolutely beautiful, and sharing it all with a group of women from around the world made it even more special.I came back with a full heart and a strong desire to keep doing things like this on my own. I’ll definitely join Maganda again!
I found Maganda through Instagram, i had some additional questions and got an answer immediately! For the trip itself it was an amazing experience. It was my first time diving and it was amazing that everything was taken care of. After 1 week i got my diving certificate advanced in open waters. I met so many nice girls that even after the trip we stayed in contact and visited eachother! I would recommend to everyone to travel alone with a plan and you can just enjoy without thinking too much and meet amazing people from all over the world
The organisation of the trip is perfection. Great variety of activies, total flexibility that adapats to the circumstances of every group. I had the best time ever in the philippines thanks to Maganda and the girls I met. Lifetime memories <3

Maganda Experience is the perfect way to travel alone for the first time! I had the best two weeks with some amazing girls.We had so much fun and i take these memories with me for the rest of my life.I went on the girls surf trip in Catanduanes, and even though i had never surfed before i felt so safe doing it for the first time there. We had great instructors and just surfing with the girls was so much fun. I also loved exploring the islands and doing yoga and other activities with the girls💗I would love to travel with Maganda again soon!
The 10-day surf trip in Siargao with Maganda was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. I had such an incredible time with the girls. It was so refreshing to connect with like-minded travelers and learn a new activity together. The surfing itself was absolutely amazing, and having the support of all the other women in the water made it even more special. It felt so empowering to cheer each other on and celebrate every small win as a group. Silvia was amazing as well and made me feel so welcomed as soon as I arrived!

This trip was one of a life time! It was booked on a bit of a whim, I knew I wanted to try surfing and had seen a girl I knew of from the Isle of Wight had done this girls only group trip. When I looked online about what was included I just said yes and decided I would figure money out later! Everything was glorious, the surfing was perfect for beginners and the instructors were both fun and informative. Being a girls only group was superb and just what my soul needed! I’ve made friends all over the world who I still keep in contact with now nearly a year on! There was lots of time to relax, and the yoga was incredible! So much so, I’ve since brought yoga sessions from Amalie. I’ve been lucky enough to do such a variety of travel trips, Vietnam, Singapore, Bali, America to name a few and yet the Philippines will always hold such a special place in my heart ❤️
I had a great experience with Maganda, I visited Catanduanes in October and I loved every part of it! I met amazing people and had a great time learning how to surf, the lessons were very helpful and you basically had your own instructor teaching you as there were so many teachers. The activities were fun and well organised, and I felt safe and supported through the whole experience!
