Don't buy the Laces ring; no service

We bought the Laces ring at the Margiela store in Paris (rue Richelieu) in December 2023. After two weeks of normal wearing the ring had deteriorated badly; there seems to be something structurally wrong with the enamel and it peels off. We contacted costumer service by phone for a replacement or refund, and were asked to return the ring, which we did in February 2024. Since then two months have lapsed, we haven't heard back, didn't receive a refund or replacement. I get the same standard reply to my email enquiries ("We are monitoring this case daily, and our retail department has reassured us regarding a quick closure of our verifications"). To be fair: customer service is responsive, but only to say and do nothing. One of my worst shopping experiences ever.

Just crickets...

No one from customer service is responding. Awful considering the prices that you pay!! I have tried emailing them four times over the course of a week and nothing. CRICKETSI was never given an "invoice" packing slip or anything else In my order, and I am trying to return it... The box was all ripped up inside as well..

Avoid the website at all costs. I placed an order 9th December, and well that is it. OK they haven't taken moneyManaged to get two brief replies from customer service after multiple emails, basically telling me to go away and when they were ready they might send my order

They will over charge what you originally paid for three times the amount!

I bought my girlfriend the scent By The Fireplace for our anniversary. The total with shipping + taxes came to be $77.49. They charged my credit card THREE TIMES. That's $234! I called them immediately and waited on hold for twenty minutes and they hung up on me. So, I had to call again. I finally got ahold of someone and they said "Oh, that's normal" blah blah and something about charging an extra dollar but it eventually goes away? I was like no sir, this company charged my banking account $234! He made no sense and I understood nothing of what he was saying. I had to make a dispute through my card company eventually. My bank said "Yeah no they did charge you three times." I don't even care if the scent ends up being nice to my girlfriend, I will NEVER shop from this site again. Their customer service was no help and they rob you. Thank god I have one of the best banking companies, they are handling it and issued me the money back. Unbelievable.

Simply awful, it's like they operate in Middle Ages

Ugh, where do I even begin with this. +1 to everything already said. This company has no business selling in the States, where great customer service is a must. Never buying from them again. I left an honest review on their website and it was MODERATED!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service! Purchased from the website as a gift for someone and was told that they never received my first order. I was told by their representatives to make the purchase again. They said the first order charge would "drop off my account". When following up about the delayed refund, they kept blaming it on my bank. Turns out the first order DID ship and my friend ended up receiving two of the same item and they did nothing to help me. I expect more from a large company like this and I feel scammed.

Paid over $1400 for my Fragrances

Paid over $1400 for my Fragrances. Never received the order. The rep Sergio said to file a ups claim which I did. Never heard back from him thereafter. Sent over 20 emails. No reply at all. Very disappointed. Will be going through my financial institution.

Worthless customer service

I recently ordered a Replica scented candle as a gift for a friend from Maison Margiela’s website. The order was fulfilled quickly, but the candle never even arrived. It was apparently stolen in transit or never even sent. The box arrived containing only tissue paper and perfume samples. When I contacted customer service via email, the customer service rep Hayley claimed the product had left the warehouse in the package and suggested I check with the gift recipient to see if the package had been damaged or tampered with. My friend has a doorbell camera so she knows it wasn’t tampered with on her doorstep. No one in customer service has responded to any of my subsequent emails, and there has been ample time to respond (1 week).I’m especially frustrated because of how they sent it—if indeed they actually sent my product—via UPS SurePost, ensuring I could not file a claim with the shipper. I can’t file with UPS because the last mile delivery was completed by the USPS. I can’t file with the USPS because I do not have the original shipping receipt. There is effectively no way for them to be held accountable for actually getting their product to the consumer. If I ever buy a product from them again, it most certainly will not be directly from their website.

Rely of the Brits sense of putting up with crappy goods

They send damgaed goods, and when you wish to snd them back no response and I think this is what they want people are too annoyed to send an item back with the you hvaing to bear the cost, to an overseas place! Its always the last pair so you cant even get it even if you throw money at it. Really really awful customer service and condition of goods!
