I never received my very first box and when I tried to contact customer service the only response I got was that they were backed up for 72 hours so I never got my box of food which I planned on for the week. This service does not provide a decent delivery service for the members and customer support is almost non-existent.Good luck!

This company is an absolute disaster. First and foremost, even if you skip a meal they will send it anyway and insist that you didn't skip it. They charge you for your second box before your first box is delivered - The recipes are absolute garbage and the quality of the food they send is mediocre at best. They sent incorrect recipes and there were ingredients missing. Customer service is an absolute joke. Not only is it slow, the people they hire are ignorant, lack intelligence and are highly inefficient. The response time is pitiful at best, they don't even read what you write, it is as though you get a generic robotic response, and when they do actually seems as though they're human - they are rude, condescending and would be the least helpful customer service department I've ever encountered my entire life. There are a million food services like this in existence, I would avoid these criminals like the plague.
Marley Spoon has good, simple recipes. My complaint is with the interface. I do not need a delivery of 3 meals every week, so on about August 12, I went to my account and requested no meal deliveries for the next 3 weeks. Imagine my surprise when on August 17, I checked my account and found that none of my changes had taken. Further more, there was a "we'll get back to you note" and they have not. I tried again to cancel 3 weeks of meal deliveries. The process is designed to discourage you, IMHO. I ended up cancelling my account. I will renew it in 3-4 weeks when I want to resume meal kit delivery services. Green Chef was so much easier in this area!!!Judy the Non-Cook
Terrible Customer Service after my box just was not delivered during finals week. They have no empathy for the time invested to pick out recipes on their site, make an order, then wait and receive nothing and no communication. So, you are expecting a box with meals so you don't have to make a grocery trip, only to have to scramble, last minute to re-plan the whole week of meals while also having to wait for a refund that is not posted yet. No regard for being a customer of over 5 years. I will be ending this service, it's overpriced, unresponsive and unreliable.
Very disappointed. My first box contained tofu that opened so it spilled everywhere and my second box had rotten eggplants. What’s worse, is my second box was vegetarian and I’m a vegan, and the company is taking no responsibility for sending me non-vegan items.
Marley Spoon is the second meal kit company I subscribed to, two months ago now. My experiences are mostly great so far: the delivery is always careful and on time. Ingredients are of good quality (most are eco) and they never skipped an ingredient (which was the reason for me to switch providers back then). The recipes are original and most of the time very tasty. And extremely easy and fun to cook (and I was not a cook *at all*)... I definitely recommend Marley Spoon, you will love what is coming out of your kitchen!
