I visited a photo booth at a local store yesterday to take a passport photo. After paying, the system crashed during my second attempt. When I tried to go back, it just returned to the home screen and crashed again. The service claims you can take up to 10 photos until you’re satisfied, which I had used successfully elsewhere just weeks before. The booth also advertised this feature. I called customer service and explained the issue, but the representative was incredibly rude. She accessed the machine remotely while I tried again, but it crashed once more. Then, she began to argue with me, suggesting I should just accept the first photo, saying I looked the same in every shot. I requested a refund due to the ongoing issues, but she flatly refused, claiming it was my fault for following the instructions to retake the photo. Frustrated, I decided to leave the booth while I saw her rebooting the system. They are failing to deliver on their promises and hiring unhelpful staff to assist customers.
I ordered 4 large canvas prints and 3 block images from a local branch, and the quality is truly terrible. The canvas prints are of very low quality, and a print I purchased from another source was significantly better. All three block images arrived damaged, were poorly mounted, and had a subpar finish. It's very disappointing to see such low standards from a well-known name. I will not be returning and strongly recommend others to seek alternatives.
