I took my cat in for his quarterly flea drops, it was always so traumatic for both of us when I tried to do it by myself, but the nurses just get it done, almost before he knows what's happening. It's certainly a weight off my mind.
I was impressed with the increased level of attention and detail communicated from the vet at our recent health check visit. Having moved to Medivet in the last year, I have noticed a significant improvement in care.
Aurora always receives the very best care at the MediVet Dalston practice. The staff are amazing, consistently kind, professional, and genuinely caring towards both pets and owners. You can really feel how much they care about the animals they look after, which makes every visit reassuring and positive. I’m very grateful for the ongoing support and high standard of care the team provides.
The vet was lovely with my dog however this appears to be a money making opportunity. I was given medication which may not have been needed for my dog. £159 for a stomach upset seems ludicrous. The charges at the Vets may hinder families being able to provide proper medical care for their pet. This really needs to be looked into. I have two dogs and wouldn’t be able to ensure that one of them got the help they needed if they had the same issue which is a real worry. I also got told by the receptionist that I was lucky that I paid into the pet plan as I got 10% off and how worth it was. Not for me I’m afraid. Need these tariffs looked at before we start losing our pets due to not being able to pay vet bills.
Staff were unhelpful in simply issuing medication that had already been ordered previously to be ready for pick up. But they seemed to concerned with fussing over a puppy initially instead of actually understanding the simple request of the pick up... Also, not a major issue but the vet was like a robot. No care given to my pet at all. Then when asking about the medication to the staff afterwards they said they needed to ask the vet who was then in with the next client, so was made to wait for 20 minutes with my cat in her cage which she hates. Only for the vet to say he had given the medication which he hadn't and then finally for the staff to find it in a drawer and the vets input not needed at all. So didn't need to wait around. Very bad experience and will not be going back.
Sandra is the best vet I have ever head, she is allways fantastic and gives it 110% all the time, She is willing to help all the time and will put the animals and customers first, before herself. She is the most fantastic vet I have ever used.

I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called, which I truly value. The veterinarian was very compassionate, listened attentively, and conducted a comprehensive examination of my little cat. She outlined a clear treatment plan and suggested a follow-up check. Having had other pets treated at this practice, I wholeheartedly recommend their services.
The veterinarian was attentive to my concerns and conducted a careful examination of my dog. I felt that a complicated issue was addressed comprehensively, and I was pleased with the proposed treatment plan.
I'm very thankful to the team for the wonderful experience we had while getting our two male kittens neutered recently. The communication was excellent both before and after the procedure, and the atmosphere was calm and reassuring. The boys have bounced back really quickly.
