Yes ,you earn about 200 rupees (2.5 dollars) per month Max and they pay but it takes 15 days to cash out!But, they provide two different kinds of surveys from payment standpoint: the first category credits the point you earn immediately to your account. And the second category is Tabulating category which takes about 8 weeks to get credited, therefore i highly suggest to skip this category because out of 100 , they pay only 5% and the rest will just be there in the tabulating section as some sort of demonstration! They won't pay even past 8 weeks!I have around 1000 rupees pending but they won't pay! It's better to avoid this site. The customer support is unsupportive.
I have been doing surveys for Rakuten insights for over a year. Then I try to cash out this past week and it keeps saying something is wrong come back later for 4 days. Then on the 5 th day when I try to cash out I get a message about fraudulent activity on my account and they do not have to tell me what it is. Emailed several times to contest this to no avail. Beware this could happen to anyone
Rakuten is a scam. After successfully redeeming points for about 3 months I was suddenly banned with no explanation and they took not only the $4.19 which I had earned but also another $10 which they are supposed to pay out “after 3 months” or so. They should be sued.
Been trying to complete surveys for them and I usually get rejected halfway through only to earn 2 or so points. Now I decided to give them another chance and spent 55 some minutes on a very detailed survey only to get hit with a 404 bad request error after pressing 'continue to submit survey' and went from 99% to that 404 bad request page and now the survey doesn't even appear in the surveys taken history. Scam.
Another scammed customer here. I was a long time member. Since I have been gradually accumulating my rewards (which was my biggest mistake), on the day of trying to claim it, they just suspended my account and when inquired, they just gave a canned response that my account had some suspicious behavior and is suspended for good. Load of BS. Please steer clear of this Rakuten Insight Survey firm and save yourself from being cheated, not to mention all that valuable time and effort that can be put into something else that is trustworthy and genuine. RAKUTEN - KARMA will definitely bite you back big time, for what you have been doing to all innocent survey takers and pocketing their hard earned money. Just wait for it.
