Review Time
Not happy with this company yet again! I wasn't going to buy from them but my husband ordered this time without me knowing, if I had of known I would have definitely told him not too!
Mick George used to be excellent, but the last few times we've been let down by them with delivery slots, communication issues or pricing problems! I'm guessing they've changed something in their system or their delivery company or both!
Previous orders have arrived either too late and past the estimate delivery window or the delivery driver turned up and made the delivery without warning because we never received a text about the delivery!
However the customer service staff seem always helpful as they can be in the circumstances.
With this delivery we have now actually received a text but it's literally going to be delivered (allegedly) on the last day in the delivery window which was more than a working week! My husband took time off work and needed it during that time but on this delivery date he will now be back at work and we still might not get it because on their small print it effectively says delivery date subject to change!!
If you do decide to order from them, I would advise you to check the delivery window and read the small print! Definitely don't order if you're on a tight deadline!
I'm not impressed and won't buy from them again and I have made sure my husband won't either!
There are much better different more efficient companies out there with competitive prices and better delivery choices, so definitely shop around!
I specifically requested that the bulk bag be placed on the gravel to the right of my drive. I have requested this the last four times I have had deliveries from Mick George and every time the driver has checked in and placed the bag pin point as per my request. I have been in all day and nobody rang my bell to check in. I found the bulk bag left on the apron beside my caravan, to left of my drive. This is extremely inconvenient as I having some work to do on my caravan next week and it needs moving. So I am very disappointed.
Easy to use website and order what I needed.Bag of Type 1 MOT arrived when it was promised, driver gave us notice when he was on his way.Lovely polite driver who placed the bag exactly where we needed it. Totally impressive service
