This program is amazing! I have been doing this program for almost a year now, and even though I am unable to paint or sketch as often as I would love to because, life, I have learned so much and I am so thankful this has become a part of my journey! If you are on the fence, do it! It’s worth it!

I’m so grateful to have found a place where everything I need to know about paints and mediums is explained clearly and thoroughly. The lessons are structured in a way that makes learning feel approachable, organized, and empowering.
One of the things I appreciate most is having access to the videos so I can go back and review them anytime. Being able to revisit the material really helps me build confidence and fully understand each concept.
I also love that the textbooks are printable. Highlighting, taking notes, and reviewing the material at my own pace has made such a difference in how I retain what I’m learning.
The flexibility to complete assignments whenever I have free time fits perfectly into my busy schedule. And being able to pay on a monthly basis until I was fully paid up made the program accessible and manageable for me. That option truly removed a lot of stress and allowed me to focus on learning and growing as an artist.
Finding the Milan Institute is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I have painted for years but I seemed to be stuck in a rut--painting the same way. I took the acrylic portrait class from Dimitra and it blew me away. In an instant, my style had been transformed! I sold the painting I did that day for $600.00. I needed to know more! I joined the Mastery program and have progressed as an artist with leaps and bounds. Still in Part 2 (I'm slow!), I was signed with an art gallery and have sold two paintings so far (one painting was only in the gallery a couple of hours!). I couldn't have done this without Milan! If you are on the fence because of the price, or because you don't know how to draw and paint, don't be. You will learn all you need to know. All of us students are at different levels on our journey. This is a very supportive community! You will get your money back, trust me.
Everything about this art program is fantastic. From the depth of each lesson to the comprehensive detail of the program itself is truly amazing. The teachers are the best and are great artists themselves. The coaches are a great addition and provide help along the way. This is a 5+++ review!
I entered the program not knowing how to draw and had no experience with oil paint. Milan art taught me everything, I've learned everything from drawing, oil paints and acrylics to composition, finding my own voice and how to start being a professional artist. The coaches and mentors get to know you and your art, are genuinely supportive and are so helpful along the way.
I started before the new program, but only shortly before it came out. I moved over to the new and am loving the new instruction parts from Elli, also the more choices in the source images. Im so glad I joined the Mastery Program, there is so much to learn. The coaches are amazing and helpful. Everyone and all the lessons help you come out of your closed world of fear in letting others see what you love to do. Thank you
The curriculum fits todays fine artist and newbies needs, its excellent. I would say better than going to university; you can read the history books yourself. You learn actual skills like the old masters use to plus new tecniques and in addition, marketing and buisiness. I would include more newbie painting and materials classes for ones starting from absolute 0.
If you want to quickly improve your skill set then join the Master Program of the Milan Art Academy. My only regret is that I didn’t join sooner. Eli is a long time master artist and the knowledge she has shared with me in just a few months has been invaluable. Thanks to the Master Program I will be able to become a full time artist.
I am a Mastery Program graduate and I think it is the best decision I took in my life ! It is amazing because it has taken my art skills to a much higher level and also helped me find my style and my voice . I cannot thank the Milans enough they are the most generous and talented family of artists I ve ever seen.
