The advertising is clever. I wanted a local plumber to repair a leaking washing machine outlet U-bend. It was Friday, about midday. Looking again online, this company seems to be 'local' across many areas. Possibly a franchise?

The lady who answered the 'Swindon' number was very good and, for a £42 callout fee, they would send a plumber by 17:30. The plumber would call first.

We got no phonecall. We got no plumber. We were left in the dark because their phone is only answered weekdays between 8am and 5:30pm. Over the weekend they were not contactable. No other contact details are provided.

I called again on Monday morning, after a different plumber fixed the leak for £22, and spoke to (what sounded like) the same lady. She apologised and immediately offered a refund of the callout fee. I didn't ask why the tradesperson never arrived.

I certainly wouldn't use this company again but they may be excellent workers when they actually turn up.

Turned up had to wait in all day said…

Turned up had to wait in all day said it was something which was wrong left boiler working but failed again 10 mins later . Booked to come next day afternoon only after I contacted them did they say he wasn’t coming , then rebooked for the next day and the n cancelled . So three days hanging around for an engineer that didn’t come and couldn’t be bothered

Went to my customers house and charged over £400 for a gas hob installation when the customer supplied the hob and left a gas leak at the property. Then wanted to charge the guy £4000 for a new boiler saying the boiler was at fault for the leak.AVOID

I also paid £40 plus for a call out fee. But was told at 4pm that a wheel had fallen off the engineers van! A engineer came the next day. After looking at the problem l was told he would have to get parts 10 miles away and l would be charged £240 for this.When he returned the job was done But the price was extortionate. Never again!

Terrible service

Terrible service. Was charged £42 for a call out which I expected and agreed to however when the plumber came out he told me I needed a whole new cistern for £611. When I asked he could just change the part was advised that they do not make them anymore. Called another plumber and yes he got another part fitted it and for 1/4 of the price. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF !!

I needed an emergency plumber and our regulars couldn't attend for a couple of days, so I tried this firm. They said they would attend next day so I was prepared to pay more than normal. However, they didn't attend that day after all. The plumber who eventually attended after 48 hours was very friendly but costs were high. I found the phonecall on site to give a price, and the reaction when I declined to go ahead, discomforting.

This service provider demands an eye-watering £210 per hour along with a £42 call-out charge, which feels incredibly overpriced considering typical UK plumber rates range from £40 to £60 per hour. When I first contacted them for an urgent issue, I was assured same-day service, but they ended up arriving the following day, misrepresenting their schedule. On top of that, there was an excessive charge for parts, like a toilet pan connector priced at £34.95, easily available at Screwfix for just £9.99. I strongly advise steering clear of this company!

Would not recommend this company

Would not recommend this company. Charged my 84 year old aunt £6175 to install a new boiler in a flat and this is meant to be OAP rates. Feel like this company have totally taken advantage of an elderly vulnerable person. Morally wrong and totally unhappy!

CRAP - literally

I contacted your company at 8:33am on Thursday morning to request assistance with a broken toilet. We believed the entire system needed replacing, which was too big a job for us to handle ourselves. I explained that we had guests arriving for my son’s 18th birthday this weekend and asked specifically whether the job could be completed in time. I was assured that you could meet this timeline and that an engineer would call 30 minutes before arrival.At 9:00am, I received a call asking to confirm my number and address because incorrect details had been passed to scheduling. I confirmed everything and was told it was sorted.At 15:21, I was informed that the engineer would not be attending that day but would come the following morning. This was frustrating, but I accepted the new plan.At 10:56 the next day, I received a call saying “your husband rang us,” and that the engineer would arrive after 12pm. I am not married, and my partner has been home with me all day. Again, it turned out you had the wrong details attached to the wrong customer. I was told you couldn’t confirm anything about my appointment.A few minutes later, I received another call to apologise and was told that an engineer would arrive after 1pm.Then at 15:10, I received yet another call saying no engineer would be coming today.At this point, I was understandably frustrated. I was assured that you could help within my timeframe, but instead, I received conflicting information, multiple administrative errors, and ultimately no support. I am now left with no time to resolve this urgent issue before guests arrive.
