Review Time
We had a really fabulous time. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The apartment was very clean,modern and so spacious. The facilities in the accommodation were great. Three great bathrooms (2 ensuites), and some fabulous bedroom spaces with very comfy beds. A great family living space with a big dining room and for warmer weather a little balcony to sit out on. The kitchen was well equipped and we were provided with basic toiletries, dishwasher tablets, plenty of toilet rolls, kitchen rolls and washing up liquid, sponge and bin bags. We went in February so the heating was nice and warm but there are air conditioning units across the different rooms for the summer. We were kept up to date regularly by the host and meeting them to get the keys was really easy, communicating via WhatsApp and we received suggestions of where to visit which was a lovely touch. The location is great - 10 minutes walk to the centre and past a lot of lovely designer shops. Pitti Palace is 4 minutes walk and 50 metres away on the main street is a great pizzeria (Pizza Gusto) which we dined in on the first evening. We stayed 4 nights but could have stayed longer! I want to thank MMega Homes & Villas for the experience we had during our stay in Florence, Italy. They were welcoming, punctual, communicative and definitely a great host. I had to say they were very accommodating as well, allowing us to have an early. check-in since due to the extreme weather my daughter experienced fever and we got to Florence earlier than the set check in time which was at 3pm. We were in the apartment by 11:45am. In addition, they allow us to have an extra guess for a couple of days for a very convenient and reasonable fee. The property is located in a perfect area at Santo Spirito, near everything you can imagine by the Arno River, restaurants, shopping area in the heart of the most iconic and majestic surroundings that Florence has to offer. Thank you for your hospitality, we are looking forward to visiting Florence again in the near future, there is still so much to see there.
The check in process was smooth. Vladimir was in contact with us and made sure everything was working in the apartment. The location was amazing! The fireworks over the Duomo on New Years Eve was something to see. So much to do and see close by! Great spot!We enjoyed our time in Florence!
We loved our stay in Florence in this charming apartment. First, location...could not be more convenient to all we wanted to see and do. Second, very comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms, nice kitchen. Third, interesting decor. Fourth, amazing views - rooftops, Palazzo Vecchio terrace.I would recommend this apartment to anyone who does not need an elevator.
The apartment was nice, well located, and comfortable. If we had booked it just for sleeping, it would have been sufficient. Unfortunately, the bedding provided was inadequate for a proper night's sleep, the flat was hard to heat, and the kitchen was poorly equipped (only one pan, no tablespoon, insufficient cooking oil, toilet paper, and dish soap). We had no possibility to trash our rubbish according to recycling criteria.Moreover, we chose this place because it was advertised with two beds, but only one was made up with sheets and blankets. I had to contact customer service and pay an extra €15—despite initially being asked for €145—for something I reasonably expected to be included. I am afraid that, if I had not been Italian, the price would have been 145...It's a great spot for enjoying the center of Florence, but the overall concept seems tailored more to mass tourism than to offering a truly welcoming experience.
