Review Time
Basalt bike arrived with forks that are not properly fit for the disc brake. I believe this can be remedied but only if they either answer their phone or return the calls/email. Stay tuned, I will be reporting how this turns out. Got a quick response and great help from Chad. Replacement parts are on there way.
I checked out a lot of different bikes and one of my friends told me about the Mokwheel. I did a lot of research and settled on the Basalt, I received the bike in a box that could handle a lot of shipping mishaps for starters. The bike was easy to assemble and I was surprised to find all the extra hardware just encase their might be a problem. I ride every chance I get, and the bike is a pleasure to ride. I only have one regret, if I only knew the bike was going to be as great as it is, I would have purchased the Basalt 2. It is an awesome bike, I love riding it and I am 72 years old!!
My order shipped quickly, When it arrived it was packaged very nice and safe within the sturdy box it came in all of the parts were wrapped well insuring each piece damage free, Most of the bike was put together the only thing i had to install was the front wheel, handle bars, seat, fenders, rack and pedals.It also came with a nice tool kit to put the bike together, Over all the bike is well built.
The Mokwheel Obsidian 2.0 is an impressive e-bike that delivers plenty of torque and speed for trail riding. It feels solid and well-built, and the power delivery is smooth and responsive—especially on flat or moderate terrain. It’s a great bike for cruising dirt paths and light off-road routes where you can really enjoy the motor’s punch and the comfortable ride.That said, it does struggle a bit on steeper hills, especially if you’re expecting the same level of assist you get on flatter ground. It’ll still get you there, but you’ll likely find yourself helping it along with some extra pedaling.Overall, the Obsidian 2.0 is a blast to ride and feels like a great value for its performance and quality. It’s a solid 4-out-of-5 from me—powerful, fun, and reliable, just not quite the mountain-climbing beast some riders might expect.
I have had a 10 mile trip to and from work for years now I taken my bike their and back and been tired when I get their but with the new mesa lite 2.0 e bike I got from you guys atMokwheel it’s madeMy day to day life easierAnd better I can tell it’s improving my day I not tired after 10 mile ride to work anymore it’s justAmazing it doesn’t take me an hour get to work now or home it’s just awesome thank you guys every much for the bike
