DO NOT!!! BUY!!!!! This company will sign you up for a unwanted subscription, I was unknowingly charged on multiple occasions. It is a scam they are running, and I warn everyone to be very careful and intentional when you are buying from here. On top of my unwanted subscription the deodorant didn't even work well for me, everyone please avoid.
Scammy/Shady business practices. STAY AWAY! Had no idea there was a subscription, and that's clearly by design.
THE ONLY MENTION OF A SUBSCRIPTION is a single 6-sized font sentence. There is no other indication: no email confirming the subscription, no reference when paying or at the many screens when ordering (except a single time and hidden) and no follow up email reminding of an upcoming subscription fulfillment with an opportunity to cancel.
I ordered 4 sticks for $51, then 4 weeks later I'm hit with $93 and another 4 sticks.
Stay away!
UPDATE: they offered a 20% discount on the order, but 1) I did not know this was a subscription and 2) even with the discount, I could have ordered them on Amazon for about 25% cheaper. Damn crooks.
I’m sharing this review to warn others about the lack of transparency in Carpe’s subscription model. In my experience, the company’s renewal process is highly misleading, relying on automated enrollments and a failure to provide the very notifications they promise on their website. This has resulted in a process that feels designed to secure recurring payments rather than provide a clear, user-friendly service.
When you purchase from Carpe, be extremely careful. The checkout process is designed in a way that makes it incredibly easy to overlook that a "Subscribe & Save" option may be pre-selected or bundled by default, which can be easily missed while skimming your order. To make matters worse, the receipt I received gave no clear indication that I was enrolled in a recurring automatic subscription, nor did I receive a dedicated confirmation email explaining the enrollment or my next delivery date.
Despite their website explicitly stating, "We always send email notifications a few days before your order renews," I received absolutely no warning. I was simply hit with a surprise charge. When I reached out to resolve this, their "Sweat Advisor" sent a scripted response that completely ignored their failure to notify me and my request for a refund, instead offering me a "30% lifetime discount" to stay.
It was only after I directly quoted their own website policy back to them that they finally offered a solution. But even then, they would only send an RMA label that I have to pay for. They are essentially forcing me to pay shipping costs to fix a mistake caused by their own lack of notification.
If you try to cancel, be prepared for a very deceptive process. You have to click through roughly three different screens of "Are you sure?" Each screen is designed to be confusing. For example, the "Keep Subscription" button is highlighted in red at the bottom of the screen, a place where most websites put the "Unsubscribe" or "Confirm" button. In my opinion, this is a deliberate attempt to trick your peripheral vision into staying subscribed when you thought you just clicked "Cancel."
Looking at other reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only one struggling with this. It is frustrating to have to spend my own time and money to return a product I never would have received if the company had simply followed their own stated notification policy.
Bottom line: If you buy from them, check every box twice and keep a close eye on your bank statement, because you likely won't get a heads-up before they charge you again.
I can not say enough positive things about Carpe. First, customer service is top notch. Everyone on the customer service team goes above and beyond to help me. My first order arrived with an empty package. The package was cut open and the items removed somewhere during delivery. Once I contacted Carpe, they apologized and replaced my order free of charge. Recently, by mistake, I placed two orders which I did not need. I contacted them and they quickly cancelled one of the orders and gave me a 30% discount code for the remaining order. I am blown away at how much they care about their customers. Also, this is the ONLY product that has helped my son and me. We are customers for life! I’m so thankful I found Carpe deodorant! I’ve struggled with super sweaty armpits since I was a teenager, and after having a baby, my hormones have been all over the place, making it even worse. I’ve tried so many different brands and nothing really worked.
At first, I was skeptical because I kept seeing it all over social media, but I finally decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! It’s honestly a 1000/10 for me. My armpits smell amazing, I’ve been using the coconut vanilla scent , and the best part is my shirts are not wet anymore. Thank goodness!

I am so glad I gave Carpe a try. I'm on my 3rd stick and I will never not use this product. The scents are fantastic and I stay fresh and dry for a long time. This stuff is far superior to any deodorant you can buy off of a shelf. I had a question regarding my most recent purchase and when I emailed, I received a very fast response and they were so, so kind and helpful. I LOVE CARPE!!!
The company has a very dishonest practice by signing customers up for subscriptions without warning. They refused to let me refund the automatically placed order. The product is ok, works as well as my Every Man Jack deoderant.
