Review Time
tldr; paid $35 but unable to figure out how to use notary service, very slow customer service. I was trying to use the notary service through mycorporation.com, as recommended by my credit union. I'm well versed in using computers and the internet, etc, but I couldn't figure out how to use the service which charges $35 up front. So I paid, and nothing happened, no email confirmation came for more than an hour.. I decided to use notarize.com which was intuitive and easy. I called cs, and they got back to me several days later.
**UPDATE**I worked this backwards and called my Dept. of State. The certificate of publication noted below had been filed. It was my CPA who told me I would need to submit it, hence my calling mycorporation.com in the first place to try to find it. I've raised my rating to three stars because everything was filed as it should be, however, my initial inquiries via phone message and email have gone unanswered.Case closed.I paid a local accountant to set up my LLC. Unfortunately he farmed it out to mycorporation.com. I tried to find out what newspapers the notice of formation were published in. My request went unanswered. The accountant called them, to which the response was "we don't know", if they really did call him back. Calling the number only goes to a general voicemail so you must leave a message. Apparently mycorporation.com sent the publishing out to a third party. I have 10 days to get my certificate of publication to my state department. As of this writing I have received no certificates, no response, but everyone has been paid.
Applied for all payroll tax accounts for state of Georgia April 2022 and still don't have all the accounts set up as of 03/21/2023! I send emails requesting updates and after 1 month of silence all I got was an email saying Georgia is months behind on processing. Really 11 months? I highly doubt it. Why do I keep having to send emails requesting updates after 1 month of silence? Does this company have any kind of oversight or are we at the mercy of people working from home who aren't actually working? Sure would like to know.UPDATE: After posting this review amazingly in less than 15 days they were able to complete a project that had been stalled for months. They claim it has been completed and the paperwork is on the way. I will believe it when it's in my hands since I find it hard to believe after all this time it magically was accomplished so quickly.
