Overall, our tour and cruise starting in Helsinki on 1 November 2025 was enjoyable. However, we were very disappointed with the Flam Railway segment of our ‘Norway in a Nutshell’ day trip. Our train from Flam to Myrdal was scheduled for 4:30pm, just as it was getting dark. Consequently, we missed all the 'spectacular scenery' highlighted in the tour notes. I later asked the conductor about earlier train options and learned there were many seats available on the 2:30pm train, which other tourists took. While they enjoyed the return trip, we had to wait for two hours in Flam, seeing nothing but darkness. The stop at a waterfall, lit by colored lights, felt unsafe due to the icy ground. This poor scheduling made for a very long day; after starting in Bergen at 8am, we didn’t reach Oslo until 10:30pm. I suggest considering an overnight stay in Flam or rescheduling the Flam to Myrdal train to an earlier time.
We had a fantastic experience on our trip to Everest Base Camp. The service made everything so easy and was very supportive when we had to change our flight. We recently enjoyed a 10-day trip to Sri Lanka through a service, and it was excellent. All flights went smoothly, and we were greeted at the airport and taken to our hotel as planned. The 3-star hotels were fantastic, with spacious rooms and great facilities. The tour guide and driver were excellent, the food was delicious, and the locals were polite, many speaking English. The sights were amazing, especially the elephants.
Everything was well-organized and timely. I couldn't find any faults. This was our first fully organized trip, and I will definitely book again through this service. Our tour guide and driver were fantastic, and the small group size of 11 was ideal.
