I found that the set-up was great. Being able to edit my answers and add to each chapter was a asset, I did find that adding photos was at times difficult and not having them going to the bottom of the text was not where I wanted them. The other thing to would improve my experience would be to have the question text match the preview pages. All in all after trying to figure out how to manipulate the photos and text I thought that this is a wonderful way to produce a book. The cover page is an added bonus.
I was excited to get this for my Father, who turned 77 last year. He had the whole year to work on it and complete it so we could put his book together for 2026. The questions that were asked each week were really great and emotive. I love that they also offer the option to add-on a ghostwriter for those who would rather have someone else do the writing, and the option to record your stories instead of writing them out.
The weekly updates were also helpful. My Father's first language is not english and so he's found it difficult to write. I originally thought this would be a great thing for him and me to do together once a week, so I could help with the writing. We haven't finished the questions for it, but the great thing is it can be done on your own time, and there's no rush - allowing us to go at ou own speed. I am so excited for him to have this and for the family to have this book as a keepsake to be passed down.
Was given this as a Christmas gift. It brought back some wonderful memories and a great place to share them with my family. Easy to follow cues given weekly which helped me remember experiences that I could share.
This was given to me as a gift but turned out to be a great experience as I looked back on my life and revived some great memories. The questions were all relevant and you can skip ones you dont want to answer. Overall a great experience
We presented this to my mom for her 70th birthday, and she found it relatively easy to use on her phone after we assisted her with the app download and initial setup. I took care of the final review and approval of the book, which included adding photos, rearranging some questions, and selecting a cover. While there were a few awkward moments in the user experience and it would have been great to have more customization options (like repositioning photos, altering text color on the cover, or cropping cover photos directly in the app), the overall process of finalizing the book was quite user-friendly. I'm excited to see the final printed version in a few weeks! It will make for a lovely keepsake!

We purchased book subscriptions for our parents so that our daughter can have their stories preserved formally and read them when she's older. It's a truly special gift. However, it does come with the understanding that it requires effort from the gift receivers. Out of the three subscriptions we bought, only one grandparent managed to complete the book prompts. So, it's important to be realistic about who can commit to this. If the book isn't completed within a year, there’s a $59 fee to extend access to the book print, which is actually more than our original purchase since the service often goes on sale. That’s a bit disappointing!
