The concept is commendable, but the food quality is subpar and the portions are minuscule. The presentation is unappetizing, which is a significant source of dissatisfaction. When I attempted to cancel my second order due to the poor quality of the food, my emails were ignored. Instead, I was informed that I could unsubscribe from the mailing list. Money wasted.
Absolutely Terrible customer service. They don't even try to care about the customer! Extremely unprofessional responses and refused to help. I signed up to try the service and the website stated that you simply need not to select meals if you do not wish to order, so I left it that way and did not select the meals. Also, after filtering for my allergies (dairy) there were only 4 meals available for me to order, and the system required 6 so I could not order myself 6 full meals if I wanted to. I happened to check the account to see if any more meal options were available for me to order and there were still only 3-4 options. Then I happen to see an automatic order of EIGHT meals (about 6 of them I was allergic to) and a charge of around $129.00. I immediately contacted them to cancel the order as it had not even been fulfilled or shipped yet and they refused to help at all. After continuous contact they proposed to recover the cost by putting in a coupon code forcing me to purchase from them again. I told them they don't have enough meals within my diet restriction for me to even order again and they wanted to force me to order duplicates. This is unacceptable to me. I asked to speak with customer service manager, and they stopped responding to me all together. Their communication tone was very dismissive and unbothered as if they had no consequences.
The food is only ok. They're not balanced meals and considering that, they cost too much for what you get. The food they show in pictures is nothing like what you get so I say that's false advertisement. I signed up and ordered the first week but that took 10 days to show up and before I even received the first box I got an email to pick the following weeks food. I ordered once more to check out other items but I already canceled my subscription.
I order meals to try them..I did not like them..I texted and told them not to send anymore meals. They went on and billed me $137.03 for I don’t even know what…They got my text and never returned my money..Now they are sending those crappy meals..I have no room for them..I had told them I am 76 and have nowhere to put them.BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!Crooks
The meals we enjoy. However if you have an issue, good luck. No one EVER answers the phone number and if you want a refund for thawed product they ghost you. Poor customer service and the worst delivery partner Fed-Ex really bring my opinion of them down.
This company is very disappointing. Their food is good but their customer service is really bad. I sent an email to cancel my subscription back in June because I was traveling for a few months. All of a sudden in August they billed me $125. I am not home to receive the meals plus I did not order them and their customer service failed and was very poor. Be careful! There are many great meal companies out there.
Portions small; mostly tasteless; threw away more than I ate. Skipped an order/shipment and it arrived anyway - meals I did not select but was charged for. Customer service sent a link to cancel but it was a challenge to navigate and find the right page to cancel my account. Also found out that if you don't order each week or skip, they select meals and ship to you.
The term "metabolic meals" is misleading and false when you do not offer meals that support, optimize, or improve metabolism. Additionally, their customer service in trying to resolve this issue has been appalling, childish, and unprofessional. Conveniently, their function to leave a review on their own website is broken, and their customer service has been totally unresponsive in my 3 attempts to resolve.As a nutritionist, I would NOT recommend this to my clients.
