I purchased UAE national bonds in Nov 2023 of AED 40,000. till 9 Feb 2026, I got returned total AED 440. This is a total fun that national bonds making with me and with public. I never ever recommend to purchase them.
If I could I would not give them any star. Since they start employing Emiraty nationals it all went down the hill. I did mistake by not taking my funds when I left UAE they are so incompetent they can not even make international transfer.I had to fly to deal with them what a joke. And for the interest forget it is a joke. Only Emiraty national are one list of winners of the prices.
I am an account holder with National Bonds since more than 17 years and recently I had very bad experience because my emirates ID details were entered wrongly and to make it worse even after a request was logged in it was not fixed since more than 10 days. When I called their customer service they said it was fixed and I like a fool went to redeem my bonds only to be told it was not fixed. The people working there who are responsible for doing this updation are not at all interested in doing their job and the customer has to suffer wrongly.
I had a bad experience with my BOOSTER10 account with National Bonds. I started investing with Booster 10 account year 2021. The T&C is that the amount not only gets a good interest in 3 years (incremental), but here is the GOOD part it is also included in the monthly draw. Who would say NO to that offer? Now I just found out that they have changed the T&C recently in a bad time. I was told that the BOOSTER10 account is no longer included in the monthly draw. I am in the last year of my investment plan where the interest rate is the highest. So I have 2 options 1. Continue and finish the plan but miss the chance for the draw. 2. Shift the amount invested to a normal saving scheme and lose the interest. Good job NBC.., I'm just waiting to finish the plan and invest it in Al Hilal Bank- Wakala Account where they are offering 5.1% p.a. and they have a monthly draw as well. I would like to put 0 star, but not possible
This is almost like a scam. I have invested 10 shares back in 2005 and after 10 years i wanted to check how much I got. But when I called Al Ansari exchange I have been told that the bonds that I got are forfeited and the certificate cannot be found on their system. I was advised to call the National Bonds CS but when I called the person i spoke with said that my bonds are gone because they couldn't contact me and they did try to email and call my mobile but could get in touch with me. SO THATS HOW IT WORKD IN THIS INVESTMENT WHICH IS SUPPOED TO BE KEPT FOR YEARS. THE PEOPLE IN THIS NATIONAL BONDS JUST TOOK MY MONEY WHEN THEY FAILED TO CONTACT ME THEY ASSUME THAT I AM NO LONGER EXISTING SO THEY JUST TOOK MY MONEY. I DESPERATELY TRIED TO REACH OUT TO SOMEONE TO HELP ME BUT NO ONE IS THERE. I WISH THE AUTHORITIES WOULD HAVE A LOOK AND CORRECT THIS WROGDOING. THAT WAS MY 13 YEARS OF SAVINGS THAT I HAVE PUT IN GOOD FAITH WITH THE STRICTLY REGULATED SYSTEM OF UAE. NOW IT'S GONE
National Bonds is a safe investment however they have the worst customer service. Its impossible to get thru their IVR and if you do manage to speak to someone, each advisor provides you different operating procedures. You should be awarded the company with the worst customer experience unfortunately. I regret doing business with national bonds. I hope and pray no one ever invests in national bonds or has to deal with you people.
This company it’s owned 50% by Dubai government, and I have tried to invest with them and I got some profit, then I have tried to redeem my profit and my capital and I received it In my bank account next two days With out any problems with a happy smile from the customer service.
