Expectations versus reality of the Summit 2025 videosI paid almost $400 to access the “Future of Marketing Summit 2025” recordings from Neil Patel. The content itself is generally good and contains some interesting ideas, but the way it is marketed is highly misleading. The summit promises modern AI techniques for cold outreach that are supposedly simple to set up, as if non-technical users could implement them easily. In reality, the workflows shown are very complex and require significant programming skills and technical know-how. What is promised in terms of “easy implementation” is simply not delivered.Sales call focused on upselling, not on helpingAbout three weeks after my purchase, I received a call from Neil Patel’s company asking whether they could offer me additional consulting. It quickly became clear that these summit videos mainly serve as a lead-generation tool for Neil Patel’s own services. I took the opportunity to ask specific questions about the “Future of Marketing Summit 2025” content and whether someone could help me implement the strategies presented there.Lack of product knowledge in the local leadershipTo my surprise, the head of the German country team openly admitted that he had no idea what exactly was covered in those summit videos, saying that there are always new videos and he could not keep track. I found it remarkable and worrying that a senior representative of Neil Patel in Germany was unfamiliar with the very techniques and offers the company is actively promoting as “the future of marketing.” This significantly reduced my trust in the overall expertise and internal communication of the organization.Broken promise of support and poor service experienceDuring the call, I was assured that someone with the relevant expertise would reach out to me to provide more concrete guidance and support. That follow-up never happened. Nobody contacted me, and my questions remained unanswered. Given the high price, the misleading simplicity claims around AI workflows, and the lack of competent follow-up, my overall experience with Neil Patel’s service has been clearly negative and very disappointing.
