Netlify – Very Disappointing Experience
I had a frustrating experience using Netlify. While the platform markets itself as developer-friendly and easy to use, the reality did not match expectations.
Unexpected billing charges and unclear pricing tiers were a major issue. Features that appeared included in one plan suddenly required upgrades, and the usage limits were not always transparent. When contacting support, responses were slow and often generic, without addressing the specific problem.
In addition, account restrictions and sudden service limitations created unnecessary disruptions. For businesses relying on uptime and stability, this kind of unpredictability is unacceptable.
The platform may work for small test projects, but for serious production environments, the hidden costs and inconsistent support make it difficult to trust long-term.
Overall, I cannot recommend Netlify based on my experience.

Netlify is a terrible vendor platform. I moved my account to Netlify and my projects have been paused since I did. They charge you for everything except helping me sell my products. I wish I had remained with my previous vendor. Netlify is only about consuming credits for failed deployments it's ai agents cause. They keep telling me what they are unable to do.? I would not recommend this vendor to anyone who does not have a lot of money to waste trying to accomplish what Netlify advertised as something it does. So far I keep buying credits and it's agents keep consuming them for failing. Would not recommend using this vendor unless you do not mind be charged for nothing. Moving back to my previous provider as soon as I am able to get a refund.Extemely expensive for small upstart business. Do not Recommend.
Heavily overpriced - limited funtionalityFor a basic feature like WAF they want customer to force into an enterpricse plan - what is rediculous at appr 30.000 USD per year!!!WAF plus some advanced firewall settings are essential for any webapp. Hence stay away from them
Have a small website hosted on there for free. Only been a couple of weeks but it's been bullet proof and the back end is so easy to work with. Very surprised to see some bad reviews here. I have hosted sites for 25 years and this is the most content I have been with a hosting company.
