Contacted Newtek to make changes on my accounts. Katie was very helpful and answered my questions quickly and made it easy to make these changes. Would recommend Newtek for their competitive rates and great customer support.
A lot of calls had to be made because everyone kept telling me to check fir an update ever 5-7 business days. Tool a month and a half but once I was connected to Ja’kirs she resolved my manual account opening issue within a week. And she constantly followed up vis messages
I was willing to at least give two stars based off potentials of the company but I haven't even started & already dealing with complications. To what seemingly looks like a great place to bank, I just wanted a bit more information. I had already waitlisted myself but since this is something I'd like to open sooner rather than later, I figured I'd ask follow up questions & it wouldn't hurt. I was connected with Destiny. Answers received were cold & sharp, not exactly customer service. I was asking follow up questions in regards to the process and/or time frame expectations, but was rushed by a very copy & paste "anything else I can assist you with?" right before I was kicked out of the conversation mid type (which I know you see chat bubbles). Extremely disappointing.
I had high expectations based on the reviews, but my experience has been frustrating. The service only allows linking one external account, which has to be your original source, and they won't let you change it for the first 90 days. Why is it so inconvenient? I have to move funds from other accounts to my checking, and then to this service. Who has the time for that? I'll find a place where accessing my money is easier.
I recently opened a CD with a financial institution for the second time, and once again, the representative made the process seamless. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient, clearly explaining each step and following through as promised. What stands out most is the professionalism paired with genuine care. Opening a CD can feel transactional, but they take the time to ensure everything is handled correctly, making you feel confident in your decision. That level of consistency is why I returned to this institution and why I would not hesitate to work with them again. If you’re considering a CD, this representative is someone you want managing it.

I've had CD and Savings accounts with them for a while. While I chose them for their high quality products (HYSA, CD rates were great), I have also consistently impressed by their level of service and care for their customers. They have been proactive with their communication (shoutout to Ja'Kira!) whenever there was an action or attention needed from me (maturity dates, etc). They've gone above and beyond to accommodate my desired outcomes (on one occasion despite my responses being delayed). Highly recommend them for outstanding service and high quality products.
Jordan is simply awesome! I usually deal with bank people at the brick & mortar where it's hit & miss. Dealing and talking with Jordan is seamless and to the point with my money. I'm really happy with Newtek and I owe Jordan a tall one(s) x 10,035.01 & counting!
