WHEN IT COMES TO SNAGGING HIS WORK IS ABOVE AND BEYONDRyan snagged our new build property on the 27th of December 2025. Booking through the snagging company website was very easy, he was also very accommodating to any changes in booking. Our snagging took almost a day, and it was worthwhile. Ryan provided a thorough breakdown of all the flaws, from cosmetic to complex, present in the build in the report and in person in a professional manner. His post completion checklist included subsidence, loft insulation, cold bridging, water ingress, thermal imaging and drone surveying. I had received the PDF report on the same day, it was easy to read with a good level of depth and photos. He was lovely to communicate with, and I hope to book him again to perform our de-snagging. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to snag their home as his expertise is exceptional.
We were quite nervous going into our new build inspection, as you never really know what standard you are going to get with new builds.Ryan did an exceptional job from start to finish. He was very communicative and happy to answer any questions we had, explaining everything clearly along the way. He was incredibly thorough and ended up spending eight hours at our house, which is far beyond what we expected. Thanks to his background, Ryan has a huge amount of knowledge. He knew exactly what to look for, how issues might be fixed, and what to ask the developer for when it came to specific repairs. He picked up on things we would never have thought of ourselves.On top of all that, he was genuinely lovely, professional, and reassuring throughout the whole process. My partner and I would not hesitate to highly recommend him.

He was very thorough and meticulous with his work. Fantastic service provided by Ryan and would throughly recommend. Upon initial enquiry Ryan came back with a prompt, clear explanation of the types of survey that are offered and guidance on which to go for. We were kept updated upon arrival on the day of the survey, a photo to check the house was correct before starting the survey and a message to say all done. The report came back to us on the next day and is extremely thorough and detailed, far beyond our expectations. I would recommend Ryan without any hesitation.
At last minute I booked in Next Step Ryan - and so pleased I did- firstly the massive list at the end and photo evidence and time spent by Ryan and his eye for detail was exceptional - more importantly the urgent list including a water leak that had already damaged a kitchen cupboard inside .I had not noted- there were loft issues I did not even open the loft radiator not working water pressure taps loose front door canopy loose , missed sealed doors and damage to various to name a few - I would not of even had skills to know what to look for in a loft for example-The list has the priority bigger issues followed by others 200 plus My neighbour had their boiler connected wrong too so just shows and was my motivation in doing this.Ryan even told me I did not have legal certificates I should of had and still chasing one for my solar panels- Yes its expensive buying a new build and it is busy moving but honestly - give Ryan a call before you decide best thing I did - you can then decide what you think of your list that needs pushing back to builders -mine are now in progress
