I struggled for very many years with my addiction, but I have now been sober for six months. Over those many years, I made many attempts to overcome my addiction using only willpower, but those attempts all eventually resulted in relapse. Therefore, when I most recently resolved to break my addiction, I decided to also work with Jake. Starting with my very first one-on-one meeting with him, Jake made me feel comfortable and at ease. With compassion, Jake helped me understand the roots of my addiction, and recognize that my addiction was actually a reflection of my core inner goodness. He provided tools and techniques that help one not only achieve and maintain sobriety, but to also become the best version of themselves. Jake also taught the important role that belief in a Higher Power can play in overcoming addiction, which strongly resonated with me.

I had multiple instense filters, accountability partners, etc. but in the end, nothing worked. I’ve been sober now for 7 months. My wife first got me introduced to No More Desire with Jake’s podcasts.
