Do NOT order from this company. I searched everywhere for reviews when I ordered (outside of the fake reviews on their site) and couldn't find any. Had I known, I never would have bought from them. The quality is HORRIBLE. Cheap fabric, doesn't look anything like the pictures. Unfinished seams. Way smaller than expected. Now I'm in a battle to return and refund.
I ordered two items. One item was not delivered and I am still waiting on the other. I contacted the company about an order not delivered and have not heard back. I received an email back from the company stating the item was delivered and it included a photo. The item was delivered to the wrong address and the rep wanted me to go look for it. Avoid Nora and Max Vancouver like the plague! They are a company out of Asia with no ability to provide customer service and support.
This company said they were located in Vancouver which is not true. The quality was so poor it was laughable. No refund. Wants me to ship the product back to China which costs a fortune. They are fraudulent just like so many companies these days. DON"T ORDER FROM THEM
I ordered a blouse and a pair of shoes. The quality of both items is mediocre. Neither item fit and I didn't like the quality so I wanted to return them as per their 30 day return policy. Admittedly I didn't read it in detail when I ordered and I should have. The policy is 30 days from receipt of the item. When you advise you would like to return they will chip away at the 30 days by offering you small refunds of 10-20% and just keep the items. By the time I got the info to make the return a week had already passed and this was with me responding very quickly each time. You have to return the items to China so to ship back from Canada it is VERY costly. From Canada Post (with a tracking number) it was going to cost me $90.00. This was almost as much as the order. I checked with a courier company instead and it was going to cost $230.00. I ended up taking the 20% refund and will try and get some money on marketplace for the shoes.Strongly advise against this misleading company, don't waste your time and money.
The photos of the jeans I ordered were complete false advertsing. I provided photos and they offered a 15% discount. I declined and advised I just need to warn. I wish I had seen the 1.5 star rating before I pruchased. Buyer beware, you will not receive what is pictured.
I bought blouses which were poor quality, cheap polyester with a print stamped on them. Ugly. No labels inside the garments whatsoever. The pictures are misleading. More expensive than Temu, which actually has better clothing . I'm a fool to have fallen for this. This rip-off company is not based in Vancouver or even in Canada, they're lying. Beware and do not purchase.
First, I ordered product from the site because it looks like it’s Canadian, but it’s not. The warehouse is in Asia. When you read the story behind Nora & Max, it sounds like they are based in Vancouver, but they are not.Second, the site says order by 11:59 and it will be shipped same day. Well I ordered something 10 days ago and still waiting. The package has not moved in three days, still sitting at the airport.I am pretty sure the items I ordered are going to be cheap and will likely end up in the thrift store or the garbage. Lesson learned.
