Review Time
While most of the explanations are easy to follow, there were some bets I lost because they did not qualify and I do not know why and could not find a reason because I followed the instructions.Furthermore, there should be information about how to better track profits and withdraw money from the beggining of the free trial tutorial.
OddsMonkey is functional, but £40 per month for the basic package feels very steep relative to what’s actually provided.
The company earns affiliate commission from virtually every bookmaker and exchange users sign up to through their links. Most users are likely unaware of just how much revenue OddsMonkey generates from these sign-ups. In many cases, the platform is making significantly more from its users via affiliate commissions than the average user is making from the platform itself.
Given that built-in revenue model, charging a substantial monthly subscription on top feels excessive. In effect, users are monetised twice — first through affiliate deals and then through subscription fees. Arguably, the economics suggest it should be the other way around: the platform benefits heavily from user activity, so the value exchange feels imbalanced.
The “premium” tiers are priced even higher, and it’s difficult to see a clear value justification. Most of the offers listed are publicly available promotions that can be found independently with minimal effort. There doesn’t appear to be a clear unique selling proposition that materially differentiates OddsMonkey from simply sourcing and executing matched betting opportunities yourself.
Overall, it works — but the pricing structure does not align well with the value delivered.

Signed up and went to make my first bet. Had to deposit £20 for an account for one betting site and that's fine but then it later said I needed to deposit £205 into Smarkets just for me to make my first tiny bit of profit. It never said this upfront and seems misleading. At no point did it say I needed to deposit that amount so soon.
When I first heard about matched betting I was sceptical too as I believed it was a scam but after following the steps on the free trial and seeing real profit landing in my bank account I couldn't argue any more. It's such a great way to make extra money on the side and I wouldn't be able to to it without OddsMonkey, their website has all the tutorials you need to get to grips with all the different types of bets and the processes and you can do it at your own pace so you make sure you're comfortable with what you're doing. Their odds matcher is indispensable for finding the right bets to place and lay and their calculators take all the hard work out of it. It does take a while to get your head around how this is actually profitable but once I understood it there was no stopping me. 3 years in and still making steady profit, which has helped us have dream holidays we would never have afforded without it.
Waste of time, followed the instructions and got me to place bets as required for the free bet etc. Couldn't find the the corresponding bet on smarkets and then couldn't find the initial bet to complete the process. Coral didn't give my free bets and couldn't find the 'Live Chat' option OddsMonkey suggested.
