Frustrating identity verification process

I was compelled to go through identity verification again. After multiple tries where I submitted photos of my identification, I was told it was successful! The app let me log in but continually failed to activate my card. The website still indicates that I need to verify my identity, preventing me from activating my card there as well. This experience is far from user-friendly, even for someone with technical skills.

Disappointing Experience

I checked the balance on a gift card for my elderly father, and it showed zero due to 'card management fees' of €1.45 after 18 months. I'm baffled by how this is allowed under consumer protection laws. The platform refers to it as 'operational and processing charges', but I haven't encountered these with other companies. It's better to buy a gift voucher directly from the store, which is likely to be more reasonable.

This service makes it extremely difficult to access something you’ve already earned as a gift. It’s misleading to suggest the voucher works like a Visa card. You have to provide photo ID and go through unnecessary verification steps. If the system were efficient, it might make sense, but it’s cumbersome and time-consuming. Frustrating Gift Card

This company’s gift card is utterly useless. My employer gifts these every year, but using them is a hassle. I can’t even add the balance to my accounts or use it on various platforms. It feels like a scam that limits how I can spend my own money. I now have a gift voucher that I can barely use, and they make it hard to withdraw any remaining balance. The recent change to cardboard cards is concerning—what if they get damaged? It seems designed to benefit the company more than the customer.

Digital Card Hassle

I bought a digital gift card for the first time and the process of sending it was incredibly complicated. I had to call for help multiple times, which didn’t resolve my issue, and was told it would take up to 24 hours to get a response. Validation codes weren’t sent, making it a nightmare I wouldn’t want to repeat.
