i was trying to move money into my account and it kept giving me an error when i knew the money was in another bank account, and now im at my monthly transfer limit without the money in my onepay. support was absolutely no help and just said wait a few hours and try again rather than actually providing a solution or looking into it. probably going to stop using this is the support is little to no help when i need it.
I was gifted funds on a Onepay card. I do not want to provide my social security number to activate my card. I called the customer service number. They told me I have the right to use the card in a limited capacity (not linked to an account) without providing my SS#, which is fine. There is no mechanism on the website or app to avoid putting in my SS#. I went through many interations including sending a screenshot of their webpage that does not have an option at the SS# stage. They told me the tech team would email me with a solution. They did not. I called again. I talked to some person "named" Naia. She told me she would ask the tech folks to respond. I guess the previous customer service person must be incompetent... I asked for an employee number or some way to file a compliant. She hung up on me. So far, they have a lot of my personal information and my money. They have lied to me and stolen my gift. DO NOT USE THIS CARD!
OnePay you may want separate categories (debit/credit/etc.) for your reviews. I am a Spark driver with the OnePay debit card that’s for the sole purpose of instant payouts for my deliveries. I also use the OnePay app and I’ve never had a single issue, I appreciate the mini cash back bonuses. I started receiving my instant payouts in December of last year and it’s been great 😊
****DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE ****^ATM didnt dispense my money now my money is on hold over 24 hrs and no one has an explanation. They must have customer outsourced out of the country because no one speaks clear English that can provide assistance.
THERE SHOUD BE NEGATIVE STARS! THIS CARD IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CARD EVER WENT TO MAKE A PURCHASE AS SOON AS I SCAN IT I DELETED THE TRANSACTION THERE WAS NO AMOUNT NO PIN NUMBER ENTERED CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY YET THEY TOOK. THEY TOOK THE COMPLETE BALANCE ON MY CARD AND PUT IT ON HOLD!!!!! SAID THEY CANT RELEASE THE FUNDS UNTIL FEBRUARY 5TH WTH IS THIS LEGAL??? SO I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE GET SOMEONE I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WELL AT ALL WAS TOLD IF I WANTED TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE ELSE I COULD HANG UP AND CALL BACK SERIOUSLY!! I INFORMED THEM I COULD PROVE I DID NOT USE THE CARD AND EVEN GIVE THEM PROOF OF THE CARD I DID USE THEY NEVER RESPONDED. I WILL BE CONTACTING A LAWYER AND FIND OUT IF THIS IS LEGAL AND IF ITS NOT I WILL BE FILING A LAWSUIT AGAINST ONEPAY! I HAVE NEVER DELT WITH THIS KINDA ISSUE ITS ABSOLUTELY INSANE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DONT GET ONE OF THEESE CARDS YOU WILL REGRET IT!
I repaid my $20 over draft protection with the last few dollars I had, then they took it away. I sincerely hate these people and I highly recommend avoiding them. There’s a reason that out of the top 10 richest people in the world, 3 of them are Waltons. Walmart family. They became billionaires by screwing over decent people, they ruined my life with this scam app, and I will never patronize Walmart again, and I would avoid One Pay like the plague, unless you want to make some ultra rich people even richer at your own expense. I pray to God that he punishes these demons. I responded to the reply, but I’ll be shocked if I get anything other than “sorry, but we can’t do anything about it”.
My mother had her social security funds directed to her card, and someone withdrew money from her account without her consent. She contacted the service to report the unauthorized transaction, and they froze her account, stating it would take two days to resolve the issue. However, two days later, there was no progress, and she has been in contact with them daily for over a week, only to receive continuous delays and no clear answers.
I activated a fuel purchase and didn’t receive the discount. When I called the first time, they claimed it was their error and promised to resolve it, but nothing changed. I called back four days later, and they said I hadn’t used their card. If that’s the case, why did they charge me? The bottom line is they are not truthful. A new service like this won’t last long. I contacted the main office and learned they are aware of ongoing issues.
The support I received during a dispute was extremely disappointing. They mentioned it would take 90-120 days to attempt a resolution. I managed to resolve the issue myself in just 3 days, and another service addressed the same problem in 2 days. This card feels completely useless. There are far better alternatives available that also provide cash advances.
One Pay has numerous problems. I strongly discourage anyone from signing up. Accessing transactions via a laptop is not possible; they solely push for mobile usage, which raises security concerns. I absolutely do not recommend this service.
