NZ-Chch. The drive was generally smooth, but we were let down by receiving a vehicle with several cracks on the windscreen and numerous scratches on the exterior. Additionally, there was trash left in the car by previous users. Having rented vehicles in Japan, Korea, Australia, and Malaysia, we've never encountered a car in such poor condition.
This was my second rental in a few months, and I always feel a bit cautious about car rentals due to potential liability for damages. However, I can't fault the service—it's straightforward, easy to work with, and the rates are excellent. Highly recommend.
