I was alerted by my bank that a company named Ownerly LLC was attempting to charge $34.95 and it wanted to know if this was a legit obeys charge and I told them I’d never even heard of it . I looked it up only to see that it had scammed many other unsuspecting people . I wrote the BBB because I was worried and wanted to report it and b the V company replied that I had set up an account ! I have never even heard of it ! I a neither buying nor selling a house. I receive a monthly market report from Zillow that tells me everything I might want to know about the home I own so why would I pay an outlandish sum of money to this company for something I already know ? I amSo angry about this and now need to spend an inordinate amount of time canceling cards etc because of this . I’ve b asked them how exactly this came about but they won’t answer the question. I’ve also asked them to remove my information from their system and not sell my B inform sell my information but they have yet to assure me. From what I can tell , this company makes its money by having people pay $1 for a report , having them without their knowledge agree to a recurring subscription and then sell their information without their knowledge . Horrible .
