Review Time
I've always been a big fan of the cafes, but my visit to one in a certain location today has made me reconsider my previous experiences. The service was lacking, from the initial greeting to the food preparation. There were no greetings upon arrival, staff didn’t wear hairnets while preparing food, tables weren't cleaned after each customer, all the coffee was cold, and the hot water for tea was lukewarm. I urge the headquarters to take a closer look at their cafes, provide guidance, and implement serious training for the staff. If these locations cannot uphold high standards, action needs to be taken to improve them. Many are tarnishing the reputation of the brand. I've enjoyed dining at these cafes in various places, but after seeing the reviews from this area and others, it’s clear there's a significant issue. Main office, please assist in enhancing the quality of your establishments.
I ordered half and half which was a half of salad and sandwich. I only got half of the salad and bread. I was not happy about it because I paid $18 and when I called back they took forever to redo the order and have door dashed to pick it up. No one checked the order before it left. Pure lazy!!!!
I often order from Panera and am rarely this disappointed in my food. Since this was a delivery, I did not return the order. I ordered a 1/2 sandwich and soup. I ordered the Sandwich and soup, the half French Ciabatta dipper and black bean soup. The beef in the sandwich was dry and if there was more than 1/2 tsp of garlic aioli I couldn't find it. The dipper was weak, like it had been watered down. The black bean soup was too salty. Not worth the $24.11 I paid. This will probably be the last time I order from Panera. Such a disappointment!
I go to the store on Hwy. 80 in Forney. When it first opened, there was a person at the front greeting people and taking orders. The pastries seemed fresh and the servers brought out good sandwiches and soup to your table. Now, no one greets customers, the baked goods are not fresh and the floors are, more often than not, sticky and unclean. What has happened to good food and customer service. I asked for take out so I could eat on the patio. No napkins, food not put in a bag, plus outside tables were not clean. So different from the past. This saddens me.
Panera Bread . Springhill, Tennessee location. I placed a Togo and had my daughter pick it up then realized after I placed my order the pick up time was 2 minutes before they closed . Their closing time is 9 PM on a Saturday night . I tried to cancel my order and could not . My daughter and her friend apologized to the worker saying " I'm sorry I didn't realize you were about to close " The worker just said " yeah " and is completely rude mind you I even left a tip on this Togo order . Our order was 2 sandwiches. One sandwich has a frown face drawn on the wrapper and the avocado was rotten on the sandwich . Both sandwiches were disgusting . This service was unacceptable and I feel like our food was tampered with . I ate some of my sandwich before realizing it was disgusting ( my sandwich did not have a frown face ) if I get sick we about to have some serious problems . I have pictures of this food .
I've been going to Panera at king Fisher lane & Lowe's lane in Frederick for past 7-8 years. But last couple of years everything at these locations has gone downhill. Quality of food to cleanliness of restaurant to customer service. So disappointing. At the King Fisher (Monocacy location) employees talk about customer in front of other customers, with no shame or respect. I am going to cancel my sip club membership after 5 years of subscription.
