As a long-time customer who appreciated their products, I was disheartened to learn about the local store's closure. I hoped to continue ordering online, as the staff had assured me. However, when I tried to place an order in November, I realized this option was no longer available. My inquiry to customer service resulted in what felt like an automated reply. With loyalty points valued at 45 euros, I find myself unable to redeem them. I expected the company to communicate with loyal members about the shipping discontinuation. Ending this service quietly feels intentionally misleading. It’s disheartening behavior from a brand that claims to uphold ethical standards.

No prior notice before halting shipping to Norway

I have accumulated loyalty points worth 45 euros, which I am unable to redeem now. I expected the company to inform their Norwegian Club members about the shipping termination. Ending shipping without any notification feels intentionally misleading. This is disappointing behavior from a brand that claims to be guided by ethical principles.

Breach of Promises & Ethical Failures

During my time as an employee, I witnessed how the company's actions contradicted its stated values. Despite promoting 'ethical sourcing' and 'community care,' management made deliberate choices to: 1. **Desert employees abruptly**: Terminated numerous staff without formal notice or due salary payments. 2. **Disregard legal obligations**: Failed to pay required notice periods and accrued holiday pay. 3. **Neglect moral responsibilities**: The parent company denies liability for unpaid wages. The real 'unethical path' is not bankruptcy, but the choice to safeguard corporate assets while leaving loyal employees in dire situations. A brand promoting 'mindfulness' should reflect on its ethical compass. Proceed with extreme caution - this isn't about tea ethics, it's about exploitation.

Wonderful Experience

I’ve ordered from the company several times and have been thoroughly pleased with everything. The teas are high quality, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. You can tell they put a lot of effort into sourcing and presentation. The website is user-friendly, and I appreciate how each tea is described, making it easy to try something new. Shipping has always been prompt, and the packaging feels special, as though you’re treating yourself. Overall, just a truly nice company with excellent products. I’ll definitely continue to return.

Matcha Experience in Munich

I visited the Munich location and tried my first Matcha. The staff explained everything about it, and I was able to follow the process. The Matcha was excellent! The team was really great. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

Great Staff, Poor Management

The tea is decent. Some are excellent, while others are just average. However, the pricing is outrageous. I've seen the same tea at another store for a fraction of the cost. I don’t understand why they believe it's acceptable to charge 300% more for the same product. I visited two locations and found the staff to be hardworking, friendly, and engaging. Unfortunately, the company compensates them poorly, which is hard to believe for such a role. Management's treatment of employees has led me to decide against supporting this company further.

Another Advent Calendar Disappointment

They advertise that purchases over 60 euros come with a free gift. However, if you buy advent calendars, it doesn’t count towards this total. I wanted to buy two calendars for 70 euros, but I won't receive my gift. I won’t be ordering again. It’s unfortunate that they’ve messed up their advent calendar promotion once more.

Christmas Shopping Disrupted

I've been a consistent customer since 2017 and noticed that shipping has not been prompt over the years. This year, I ordered my Christmas gifts well in advance on November 24. Seventeen days later, my order still hasn't shipped, and my patience is running thin. It's even more absurd that the company is currently advertising guaranteed delivery for orders placed on December 11. I don’t understand how that’s feasible - it’s unbelievably irresponsible!
