I did research on what document editor to use and something that I could use to bounce ideas off of and compare my work to historiography. Supremely limited....can only look at 10 pdfs...and a 10000 word limit which is often less than a chapter in a history book. All sorts of paid add ons even after paying for subscription. FREE Copilot in Ms word does a sufficient job. Dont buy this---buy advanced Grok or Chat GPT or Claude.
I’m honestly really disappointed with how Paperpal handled this.I was contacted by Paperpal to do a 30-minute interview, and I was told that in return I would receive one month free. I attended the interview as agreed and expected them to follow through.After I didn’t receive anything, I sent a reminder. Eventually, I was sent a code, but the code was invalid and did not work.Since then, I have sent several requests to fix the issue, but I have received no response. At this point, it feels very unprofessional. If a company promises compensation for someone’s time, the bare minimum is to honor it or at least respond properly when there is a problem.I kept my side of the agreement. Paperpal did not.
Your AI detection tool is producing highly questionable results and appears to be fundamentally unreliable. Even very short and simple sentences writing are almost entirely flagged as AI-generated, and when I tested published academic papers, the reported AI percentages were even higher and most of time 100%, which is clearly unreasonable. For a system used in academic integrity decisions, this level of over-detection is unacceptable and risks serious harm to students and researchers. The algorithm currently seems overly sensitive and not fit for its purpose, and it requires immediate review and correction.
