So pleased we found this company, transformed our house, the York stone patio was black, my husband was a little sceptical about it, but the difference it has made is amazing we can now see the lovely colours of the stone. Very friendly and professional company.
Well, it arrived quickly. And now the weather is dry and cloudy, we've tried it out. It has sort of worked. In that the colour of the stone has certainly come back well, which is nice to see. But although the black spots have faded on the stones we have treated, they haven't totally gone, and the black stains haven't yet. So will need retreating. It says the product is biodegradable - but nowhere on the container does it actually state what it is. Is it simply bleach? It certainly smells like that, which we realised a bit too late, in terms of quite a nice pair of well-loved jeans. The instructions on the side of the container are so small that we missed the bit at the end about wearing protective clothing. We only did 2 and a bit slabs of stone, and although our patio is fairly small, may well need to buy another tub at this rate.
Having not received the product from Royal Mail I was contacted by customer service at Patio Black Spot Remover.com who were very helpful and resolved the issue . I have used Patio Black Spot Remover in the past and it is easily the most effective product I have used having tried several other products.
Patio has been down for well over 25 years and was covered in dark stains and black spots. the slabs are light Marshalls Cotswold colour. 1 treatment with the cleaner as per instructions. The difference is amazing.There were a few more stubborn stains requiring a 2nd treatment, but after this the patio looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend this cleaner and 5 stars really is not enough. Thank you.
