Bought a pair of Reiker boots on 3rd wear in a bit of rain felt my feet were cold. When i removed boots at home both feet were soaked through from toes up to about 4 inches up socks. These were not cheap boots and so disappointing i had to return for refund. Lady was helpful, but saying they cant guarantee a pair of leather boots keep your feet dry first time in a bit of rain walking down a pavement means they are not fit for purpose. I have wondered if the machine used in stores to protect footwear does something to the glue or whatever is used to seal boots as i had these treated upon purchase and they did come out machine quite warm.
