One of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with!
After making a monthly payment, interest charges were added to my account which put my account over the limit by $100. On the same day that they cancelled my account, it was sent to collections.
I do not recommend this awful company!!
If you are in need of a credit card, apply to Canadian Tire Triangle! Amazing company and customer service there!

Horrible experience. This is the worst advertisement to actual performance divergence I have seen in Canada so far.
I was on my own getting groceries at Super Store at Heritage Valley Edmonton on December 26 2025, when a lady approached me to promote the PC Financial MasterCard. I should have just listened to my instincts which typically avoid rigorously advertised traps. We debated the points of my refusal to enroll for over 30 minutes as I tried to wriggle out of the marketing gimmick that focused on points and credits.

At the end, not wanting to make her regret taking a role where she never wins, despite trying so hard, I agreed, warning that I do not buy things on credit because I don't gamble with my credit rating, and I already had bad experiences with advertised credit cards prior to that. She assured this would be different, that I could start using the app, and that I would get my card in two weeks.

January 16th, full 3 weeks later, no card delivered. I went on a hunt for this lady multiple times. Called phone lines endlessly to no avail, and eventually got her around the 16th of January. Then another promise of two weeks to receive card in my mailbox.

January 30th, two weeks, no card sent. Another round of fruitless search and the marketers are nowhere to be seen.

It is now February 20, 2026. My credit limit is exhausted. I'm getting warnings. No means of paying off balance. I was on autopilot calls for hours and eventually get a response that sounded more like fraudsters online than customer service people: imagine saying PC Financial never asks for sms codes sent to me but insisting I need to disclose mine to get help from you?

I am transferred between calls just as fraudsters do when one is not winning, and finally advised to wait for another two weeks for another reissued card. I'm also advised to download statements to find account number to pay off.

At this point, my balance stood at $1013.12, over the 1000 limited which I had actually not reached from my spending. I then paid off the $ 1013.12 to the account number.

On the following day, payment has not reflected even though my account was debited. My fine for default in accumulating as I was charged another $30 for late payment that was in no way my own making.
Very disturbing experience.
Does anyone know how to resolve this sort of helpless situation?

Extremely disappointing support experience

The customer service has been incredibly disappointing; my e-transfer has been stuck for four days. The email support instructed me to call, but the wait times are endless. If you decide to call, be prepared to wait for at least an hour, and even then, the representative may not resolve your issue.

Horrendous customer service

Horrendous customer service; my e-transfer has been stuck for four days. Their email support suggests calling, but the wait times seem never-ending. Be prepared to wait at least an hour, and even then, the agent may not be able to help with your issue.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service; the app doesn’t function and directs you to a toll-free number where you’re put on hold for hours until you eventually hang up. Email support is ineffective, and the virtual assistant is of no help. I attempted to use it during two vacations, but it didn’t work, and there was no support. Definitely avoid this card. I can't even transfer my money out through the app—just errors and no one answers the toll-free number! Yet, I can mysteriously transfer more money in.

Extremely disappointing experience

They are the worst. I opened an account, received the card, and then they closed my account. Luckily, I never deposited any money. This is the worst company; look for a better bank that treats you well.

Exploiting vulnerable individuals

A representative approached me aggressively to promote credit cards to vulnerable seniors. I clearly said I wasn't interested, yet he continued to press me. I became very upset and frightened, and I witnessed him doing the same to two other seniors. This incident has left me shaken. Shame on this company.

Upgrade needed for phone support

You really need to improve your phone system; it's quite difficult to hear. Additionally, consider improving the clarity of your customer service representatives.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. There’s no live person; you only get an AI virtual assistant who can't comprehend properly and disconnects the call after wasting your time with validation questions.
