The communication and chain of people you have to work with to fund out anything has to be the worse experiences ive ever had. Zero communication. How they operate as a functional company boggles my mind. They have 3 people doing the job of one person. And if they dont communicate with each other the chain fails becuase of one weak link providing an awful experience.

I have purchased multiple houses in the past, and this time I had the unfortunate experience of having my loan sold to PennyMac. There is no one that you can get in contact with who has any experience or knowledge about any process other than collecting payments. Avoid having them service your loan above all elseYou will not get help in any manner.
At first, they validated my profits but froze withdrawals because of supposed international tax withholding. Paying that only led to another fee request. That’s when the scam became obvious. I eventually found 𝖁𝖊𝖗𝖎 𝕿𝖗𝖆𝖎𝖑 𝕴𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖑, who assisted in partial recovery and explained the fraud.
I'm truly looking forward to ending my association with this service as I've encountered significant financial difficulties. I've attempted three times to establish a biweekly auto-pay schedule, each time with different outcomes. Now, I've completely given up on both the service and on setting up a more manageable financial plan. What frustrated me most was when I successfully made an additional monthly payment to enroll in the program, but they couldn't provide any confirmation of my enrollment. They assured me verbally and through messages that I was enrolled, yet failed to supply proper documentation. Additionally, they couldn't give me the correct withdrawal date, providing two conflicting dates instead. They refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. I wasted my extra funds trying to set this up, only to be misled about my enrollment status and the dates. The service should have voided the previous setup and reset everything when I called to re-enroll, but they didn't. All I received was a breakdown of what happened and a claim that I wasn't lied to. After being promised a follow-up call, I only got a letter reiterating our phone conversation. No one investigated what truly transpired after I complied with their requests. Now, I'm back at square one. A service like this seems disinterested in helping customers set up beneficial programs, as they prioritize their own profit from interest over customer support. Interestingly, making just one extra payment a year can significantly reduce your mortgage term.
The most unfortunate event for us was when our mortgage was taken over by the company. It has been a nightmare at every step. The customer service is extremely poor. Each time we call, we receive conflicting information. Their phone texts and messages are confusing. On one occasion, they contacted us with an offer, but when I called back, they denied it. It’s bizarre. I'm also tired of the constant mail offers; when I reach out, I often speak to what sounds like a young representative who keeps saying, 'we don’t do that' and directs me to other companies. Their responses are odd, suggesting alternatives like other banking facilities, which is quite amusing considering they send out offers themselves.
I was requesting to have a late fee reversed because there was a change in our escrow and I paid it on their website on the 15th but put the amount into "additional escrow" vs mortgage payment and therefore they said it went to the wrong place but made the adjustment and still charged us a late fee. Takes 30-40 minutes just to get someone on the phone - terrible company with no customer service
Loan officer was fine, but closing was a disaster. Frankly, we closed over a week ago and STILL nothing received, no cash due at closing. Doubt the final documents are even correct anymore due to all the mistakes and the fact NO ONE coordinated closings. Went with PennyMac because they had our first mortgage, but never again.
