We enjoyed our final dinner of the holiday here and were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. It was wonderful that we could bring our small dog along, making the experience feel even more special. The manager warmly welcomed us, treating us like friends. The waitstaff and bar personnel were attentive, the food was reasonably priced, and the ambiance was truly luxurious. With velvet seating, exquisite decor, and elegant table linens, it was simply fabulous.

We had a reservation for Easter Sunday lunch at 12:30 PM. Arriving early, we were seated in the dog-friendly area but faced a long wait without acknowledgment from the staff. Despite multiple employees passing by, it took 30 minutes for someone to approach us about drinks and the menu. We were misinformed about our orders, and after placing our drink order, we waited another 15 minutes for food. The starters were enjoyable, but the main courses were disappointing, with small portions and soggy vegetables. After our meal, we waited another 15 minutes for the bill and ended up settling it ourselves. Overall, the service fell short of our expectations, and we did not feel inclined to leave a tip. Regrettably, we won't be returning or recommending this place.
We visited the spa for a few hours before Sunday lunch and found the £18 entry fee excessive for what was offered. The facilities appeared outdated and unclean, and we were surprised to find that towels cost extra. The spa desperately needs a thorough cleaning and renovation, as it seemed neglected for years. We certainly won't be returning, although the Sunday lunch was quite nice.
This was our first visit to this charming hotel, and we were impressed from the moment we arrived. The staff were fantastic, and after check-in, we were shown to our spacious and tidy room. The bar offered a wide selection of drinks, including an impressive cocktail menu. The restaurant experience was excellent, with helpful and professional staff, and the food was beautifully presented and perfectly seasoned. Although we arrived late for breakfast, the staff graciously provided us with a lovely continental meal. We highly recommend this hotel and are eager to return soon. The service in the bar area was very disappointing. Only one person was taking orders and making drinks, while another seemed to be just busying themselves. After waiting 30 minutes for two coffees, I gave up. I also noticed other guests impatiently jumping the queue.
We visited expecting a great experience, having enjoyed meals here when it was a 3-star hotel. The table layout was nice, but the cutlery was subpar for a 4-star establishment. The waitress was overly attentive, often repeating phrases that became annoying. After clearing our plates without waiting for a response, we felt rushed. When we went to the smoking area, a staff member approached us for payment, which felt humiliating given our previous positive experiences. The atmosphere was lacking, leaving us disappointed compared to past visits.
I spent three nights at this hotel in a cozy single room that was clean and well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, offering excellent food and wonderful facilities, including a fitness room and swimming pool. The beach was easily accessible with an efficient bus service. Thank you for a fantastic experience; I look forward to returning next year!
My wife and I celebrated our Ruby Wedding Anniversary at this hotel and were incredibly well taken care of. Our spacious room was very comfortable, and the staff ensured everything was perfect. The restaurant was exceptional, with beautifully cooked and presented meals. The front of house staff were attentive, making each meal a special occasion. The bar had a great selection, and the reception staff were always ready to assist. We cannot recommend this hotel and its wonderful staff highly enough!
