Avoid Perry Bishop at all costs.Our experience with this agency was appalling. We asked them face to face why the previous sale on the property had fallen through, and they deliberately chose to omit the actual reason — that the house had spray foam insulation and was therefore unmortgageable. This blatant lack of transparency turned the entire buying process into a nightmare, caused huge stress, and ended up costing us thousands of pounds more than it should have.We were forced to escalate the matter to the Estate Agents Ombudsman, who investigated and ruled in our favour. Perry Bishop now has a formal ruling against them for their conduct — which says everything you need to know.Buying a home is stressful enough without being misled by the very people who are supposed to act with professionalism and integrity. Perry Bishop failed on both counts. If you value honesty, transparency, and basic competence, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.Although our experience occurred two years ago, I’ve since heard of similar issues including the failure to disclose important property information with potentially long-term consequences. Unfortunately, it seems their practices have not improved.
