The balance is tied to a card expiring in 2024, making it impossible to access my balance on the current card. It states that my security number is incorrect. Additionally, the contact numbers listed on the website are not operational. Why is the website malfunctioning? Why doesn't it recognize the security code, yet it works via phone? It took me three attempts to finally connect. Using this card has been quite challenging.
They issued a card similar to a 'mastercard' but can't guarantee its acceptance, which undermines its purpose. Moreover, they don't allow balance transfers to bank accounts like other providers do, making it less user-friendly. I would suggest opting for cash instead.
Using these cards is unnecessarily complicated. Trying to check a balance or register feels like navigating a complex system instead of enjoying a simple gift card experience. They keep changing passwords and adding unnecessary security steps that no one asked for. A gift card should be quick and easy, but this has turned into a frustrating ordeal. Avoid it if you're looking for something straightforward.
I have used these cards in the past, but I won't be using them again. I called to inquire about converting my physical card to a digital one, as many places no longer accept swipe cards, making them impractical. There should be a PIN option to address this limitation. Initially, I was told to contact my employer, even though I am the employer. The representative incorrectly noted my card number and needed prompting to recheck. After verifying my details, I was informed that converting to a digital option was not possible. Very unhelpful, and I've decided not to use this service for my employees this year.
The team promptly resolved my activation issue with my card. I had trouble with my surname due to an apostrophe, which caused some confusion. They quickly identified the problem, even updating me over the weekend, and now my card is all set.
