I honestly purchased these collars out of sheer desperation. My two cats and our collie had been scratching for months, and none of the treatments from the vet had any effect. Within a week of putting these collars on, the incessant itching stopped and the fleas vanished. The home feels normal again, and the pets are much happier. I’ve genuinely shared my experience with everyone at work. Absolutely fantastic.
These collars are ineffective. I wish I had read more genuine reviews before buying. I put one on my dog, and it made no difference. After a couple of weeks, I replaced it with another, and he still had fleas despite washing his bedding and spraying everywhere. Don’t waste your money!
Like others have mentioned, I purchased four collars for my two dogs, and the delivery took a bit longer than expected. Once they arrived, they looked great. However, they proved to be ineffective—I'll be reporting this to trading standards since these collars do not perform as advertised. AVOID.
The company website is very misleading. It presents itself as a UK company, claiming the collars are developed and shipped from the UK. This is false. The collars are made in China and dispatched from there. I have no confidence that these collars are safe for my pets or that they will ever arrive. It has already been 14 days since I ordered. Communication with the service has been nonexistent, and I'm now seeking a refund.
I was skeptical about these collars. One of my cats had a serious flea problem while the other managed to escape it. I tried another company's collar that failed, so I bought this one hoping the reviews were accurate. Within a week, my cat was flea-free, so I will be buying more when needed. I appreciate that they use natural products too.
These collars are absolutely amazing. I have 2 small dogs and since they have been wearing them for 5 months now, they have not had a single flea. Up to that point, they were getting fleas frequently and we were struggling to get rid of them but it is sorted now. Would highly recommend these collars 👍
I was stupid enough to read the reviews on here and still buy these collars for my cats! Fleas have been thriving even under these collars! I've written to the company 3 time asking to return the collars for the refund offered if the product fails.. zero replies and it looks like they've even blocked me on fb as i can no longer find their page after commenting on my issue with the company! I've now had to spend even more money on expensive Seresto collars which i know work but i was hoping to avoid. Shame on you PetShielded.UPDATE!Since this review, Petshield have been in touch and refunded me for the collars so i have updated my star rating.
For 4.5 years I've been searching for the perfect natural flea remedy and finally my long haired pooch is flea free. Id tried so many natural things that didn't work, but after a week with this collar she has been fine, been using since May. I do admit the same time I began 2 chopped garlic cloves a week so it is probably these too, but the combination is working well.The only downside is she has already lost 2 collars whilst offload, so I try to check they are fastened properly now.Overall I highly recommend, thank you.
The wesite says UK but just be aware the collars are coming from China . which was realy annoying as i had orderd these instead our usual flea treatment . I had to messege after 4 days to ask for tracking as was desperate for these collars . I did recieve tracking next day and then realised they where coming from China . They arrived 10 days later from yodal . I have now put the collars on all four of my cats . They do smell quite strong so am hopeing they work as well as they claim . If they work well i may consider buying more but make sure i allow for the extra time that they will arrive. ONLy leaving 3 stars as its very wrong to make out that your company is UK both on your facebook advert and on your website i hate that !! if they work well i will add another star
