Love shopping here in Hedon near Hull, you always get different things on offer. The only thing that dissapoints is the checkout staff, I asked for a carrier bag, he scanned the bag and didn't ask if I wanted any help with my packing, he could have been packing after scanning, then, to add insult to injury, starts scanning the next persons shopping before I've finished packing and as my mother has dementia, she thinks those items are ours and starts picking them up, I said, If you'd have packed them for me I would have been gone by now, he said, we aren't allowed to pack them unless you tell us to, I said I wouldn't TELL you to pack them, I would ask and some people would be reluctant to ask for help, I think your staff should ask if people need any help packing or at least wait for them to finish their packing before starting on the next customer. Very poor customer service indeed.

Can stanton hill heron please stop over charging for reduced food. Sick of it now, nearly every time I go in. Get charged reduced price, and then original bar code scanned again. No apology. Wasting my time and robbing me. Will consider getting trading standards involved if it persists, as this is fraud.
I have now stopped going in here as Mr heron is robbing the working man as an example I used to buy the odd item ie luxury coleslaw was £1.45 now £1.75 The exact same product is £1.45 in home barging If home barging can make a profit when their rent/staff wages /utilities bills etc are at least ten fold what herons are what is Mr heron making while sat in his villa in the Bahamas daylight robbery he should be in court in front of a judge for extortion please boycott this criminal
New store in Byker NewcastleThe staff are nice but all young and must have had no training,Putting reduced stickers on top of fresh food but leaving the old bar code uncovered so till staff are charging the original price as they have had no training either, Advertising meal deals but one item missing so can not be bought. ASDA just up the road most things the same price and better quality so will not be going back.
I like going to the heron foods store at Staveley with my one to one workers and I like to buy cans of Fanta fruit twist for £1.30 that is a good price and the staff are friendly and kind when they serve me and my support workers from one to one
Most of the staff are ok ( one stands out as exceptional ) but the manager is the most unwelcoming , miserable and obnoxious person I’ve met . .. she makes you feel as though you shouldn’t be their and I can’t wait to get out of the store , once I was a daily customer , now I only go when necessary .
These guys charge crazy prices for things you can find much cheaper in Aldi! They’re veg section is scandalous in that they want you to buy what’s on offer so don’t offer any variety!!! What shop never has carrots ? It seems they prey on people who are on benefits, four acre lane one in St Helens is crazy over priced. Staff are great, it’s a shame their business model is exploitery
