I joined Phidias Propfirm as an affiliate and earned €75.60, which is clearly visible in the affiliate dashboard.
To be very clear: I am NOT asking for €75 to be withdrawn to my bank.
I only requested to use my earned affiliate commission to purchase ONE Static account, with the amount deducted from my affiliate balance.
Support refused this and stated that affiliate commissions cannot be withdrawn, credited, or even used internally unless the balance reaches $500.
The problem is that this $500 minimum is not written anywhere in the Help Center or public documentation. I carefully reviewed all relevant Help Center articles and could not find any clause mentioning a $500 minimum requirement for affiliate payouts or internal usage.
When I contacted support via Zendesk, they confirmed the $500 requirement but refused to provide any written policy reference. I asked them to point to the exact Help Center article or T&C clause — instead, my ticket was closed without answering.
I then raised the same question politely in their official Discord, asking only for policy clarification. Shortly after, I was removed from the Discord server instead of being given an answer.
Summary:
FREQUENT DATA ERRORS occur too often. Significant improvements are necessary. The trader dashboard also experiences lag. If these issues are resolved, I might consider returning. I resonate with another user who mentioned, 'My profit and loss sometimes moves in the wrong direction, not reflecting the actual spread. The support team indicated they can review the data, trades, and stop loss placements. If that's true, they should notice the lag when the platform displays a prominent red box indicating "FREQUENT DATA ERROR". Yet, whenever I raise this issue, their response is always, "we don’t see any problems."
I am disappointed with this prop firm after spending several months with them and investing several thousand dollars. There is a clear lack of compensation for traders, especially today with the Rithmic data issues. This is not the first time such problems have occurred. Other prop firms cancel the trading day in such cases, while Phidias, after more than 30 minutes, has said nothing and expects us to continue as if it were normal. For me, this situation affects my mindset
Their 10K competition is unfair because it rewards those who buy the most accounts. If you spend weeks building your account, you have no chance against someone who buys 100 accounts — all it takes is one of them reaching 300K to win. Do you really find this fair? Is this supposed to be a way to learn trading?
Initially, I gave a positive review due to their prompt customer support response when requested. However, after purchasing two accounts, everything seemed fine until I received the cash accounts. Suddenly, conditions changed; I faced issues with opening and closing positions, and limits and stops took an excessive amount of time to execute. When I reached out for help, they attributed the problem to the platform, which was odd since I had no issues using it elsewhere. After I raised this concern, they ceased responding to my emails. I would advise others to be cautious. Anyone who wishes to discuss this further is welcome to reach out.
The 25k static account truly represents a genuine proprietary trading option. There are no restrictions; you simply aim for the target in your own way and receive your payout. Other firms with various account types and consistency rules detract from the trader's experience. For long-term success in trading, it's essential to learn to manage an account without limitations or constraints. The 25k static account provides that opportunity. It’s the sole account that authentic traders (not just simulation players) in this field utilize. I’m writing this review to highlight how well they managed the recent CME data outage. While data outages aren't the firm's responsibility, it’s commendable that they sought to assist traders during this simulated environment. The only downside is that payouts are made through cryptocurrency, and they do not facilitate crypto purchases.
I give it 1 star because they canceled a day without a valid reason or explanation. There was a Rithmic error, and the market halted on 28/11, resulting in no trades. Only this firm chose to cancel profits for Thursday. It seems they might be starting to scam people; the next issue could be payout denials. Just avoid this firm; they are losing credibility. When I shared my concerns respectfully on a platform, I was banned without explanation. This firm is losing its legitimacy and traders due to these issues. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
The 25k static account is likely the only genuinely proprietary trading account available. There are no restrictions; just reach your target in your own way and receive your payout. Other firms impose rules that detract from the trading experience. For long-term success, traders must learn to manage accounts without limitations. This account is made for true traders rather than those who gamble in simulations. I was particularly impressed by how they addressed the recent CME data outage. While such outages are beyond the firm's control, it's commendable that they look to assist traders when needed. The only downside is that payouts are made via crypto, yet they don't allow crypto purchases.
I've purchased several accounts without issues, but one time I faced an error with a double order. I contacted support, and they responded promptly and resolved my issue efficiently. It was handled in just two emails, which is impressive compared to other firms where resolutions take much longer. Kudos to the support team for their consistent excellence! Their offerings are also commendable. I just hope they can lower the activation fees soon like others do.
To all reading this, this firm is by far the best in the industry. They respond promptly to emails and provide excellent customer service. The payouts are exceptional, and you can access funds quickly. The $500 static drawdown has significantly improved my trading discipline and risk management. I highly recommend trading with this firm.
