Tried to order a small UPS battery online and they wanted to charge me £35 just for standard delivery. Went elsewhere and paid £6.99. BBL then emailed me and said if I phoned them they could make the delivery charge "more reasonable". Seriously?
Excellent service, my original motorbike battery was useless, so I ordered a replacement from BBL batteries (Bristol) in the afternoon (the only companythat stocked my battery in the UK), and it came the next day!! put the replacement on my bike and not had an issue since. The gentleman I ordered it from was very professional and had excellent customer service.
Returned a faulty battery, still under warranty. Load of hassle trying to change it. Eventually agreed to exchange the battery, if I removed it from my vans engine bay and put it on the shop counter. So they sell faulty batteries, then expect you to fit them. Absolutely no help. Go to Halfords.
I ordered Avon Batt Boost battery and it arrived the next day. I decided to try it and all I could get from this additional battery on my wheelchair was 0.8 miles. Luckily I do have a controler on my wheelchair that is connected with my wheelchair batteries through an app so I can easily track if and how much the Avon Batt Boost battery gives me power. Spoke to the company and they asked me to try it again. In the second trial it was the same experiece. This battery is meant to give power for approximately 10 miles. I wont expect that much but at least something closer to 10 miles when is completely new.When requested a refund I was told that I am the only one that had this bad experience and that I have been unlucky. The thing is that apart form myself I have another friend that bought this Avon Batt Boost battery and he tried his battery. He could get about 3-4 miles from the Avon Batt Boost battery. He decided not to return it because he did not wanted the hassle and also as he said 3-4 miles might be better than nothing.The return and refund process was very smooth with the company.Regarding the product I would advise that each person should try how it works for them, but my experience was not good with this product.
I needed to replace the main battery on my Volvo V90 Cross Country Ocean Race and spoke to an extremely helpful gentleman at BBL Batteries called Chris. He looked up the correct speced replacement battery for my car, patiently answered all my questions and also explained a wealth of useful information to me that the main Volvo dealership failed to do.
