Review Time
After a positive experience producing and publishing my book on-line they offered an opportunity to participate in what they called their "distribution Program." This required an upfront printing expense to be paid by me with distributors bidding on the book. If the book was not pickup up for the agreed upon price this firm guaranteed a return of my initial investment. This was late April. In late July upon my inquiry, I was told that the deal had gone through and they would wire my funds immediately. When I did not receive the funds they told me I had to pay taxes on the gain for the money to be released. I relented. No fund were transferred. Since then it has been on verifiably false excuse for the money to not be sent. I talked to the bank directly to confirm my suspicion of the false information. My account exec no longer replies to email or phone messages. I have called the service line at 6 times each time with them promising a call back from their compliance department. No call has ever come. Twice I have called that line and been put on hold until their line hangs up. I am on hold as I write this. My only conclusion is that this is not a legitimate company.
This publisher is holding onto my royalties and wants me to pay extra so they can transfer the $$$. This has been happening for months. One year later and I have yet to receive a penny. They are a SCAM. Other than publishing my books and develop a descent webpage, they did nothing else IN ONE YEAR. They ripped me off and wasted one year of my life pushing for sales. FIND A DIFFERENT PUBLISHER!!!!!
This business is a scam. Not one of the services I purchased was competently provided, and they introduced a number of errors in the text that I had to go through and remove. They are not competent proofreaders much less editors. Cover suggestions were clearly made by someone who had never read the book in question. DO NOT PUBLISH THROUGH THIS FIRM.
