I am writing this to warn other UK consumers about the predatory practices used by ProBiller and the Brazzers Network. I signed up for a £7.99 offer, but the service was completely non-functional—videos failed to play on both Mac and tablet devices.
When I contacted support, the experience was appalling. An agent named "Mark" admitted that they "do not know what is happening on the website" regarding technical failures, yet he immediately attempted to upsell me to a more expensive £9.94 plan. This is a blatant attempt to exploit customers who are already reporting a faulty product.
Most concerning is their use of the UK Online Safety Act as a financial trap. They charge your card first, then put up an "AllPassTrust" age verification wall. Even if you pass this verification (which I did), they use technical errors as an excuse to deny access while citing "non-refundable" terms.
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, a digital service must be "fit for purpose" and "as described." Since the videos do not play, ProBiller is in breach of contract. Their refusal to refund a clearly broken service is unacceptable.
I have already initiated a chargeback with my bank and requested a permanent merchant block on ProBiller. Do not give this company your card details; they prioritize retention scripts and upselling over delivering the service you paid for.
The website contains undisclosed features. Attempting to cancel a subscription results in being signed up for a new one. Even when merely checking your account, new subscriptions are added, and charges are made to your credit card without your approval. The support team is unresponsive.
An unauthorized charge appeared on my debit card. After notifying them, it took over a week to get a reply. Attempts to reach them via phone were futile. Their chat required excessive personal information. They kept trying to charge my card, but my bank blocked further transactions. I had never encountered this service before, and my research turned up no positive feedback. I strongly advise against using them.
You must wait for a 'personal' supporter for anything, even something as simple as cancellation, which took two hours. The support team vanished after 30 seconds of chat. Do not purchase anything related to this service. If you need tech support, it's only available for a limited time. Good luck to those who find themselves in this frustrating situation.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!!! If I could give a negative rating, it would be off the charts. Similar issues to others with unauthorized charges. I emailed twice with no response and was directed to their chat, which yielded no replies. My bank has blocked further charges. I’m fortunate to be down only a small amount, but others have lost much more.
