Review Time
Initial survey was cancelled and then they were over an hour late to the rescheduled appointment. We were happy with the design, but could never get hold of anyone to pay the deposit!This was eventually remedied and a fitting date booked in. Day one went fine, and some materials were brought into the house ready for fitting the next day. I could see that the drawers were already damaged but were clearly still intended to be used. By eye, it looked to me that they were also too wide for where they were to be fitted, but what do I know, I’m no carpenter….….should have trusted my instincts though, as an hour into day 2 the fitter told us they indeed didn’t fit and in fact the whole storage area of the design had been drawn up and therefore manufactured incorrectly, and didn’t fit in the space (it would have left us unable to open our bedroom door).This took SEVEN WEEKS to be corrected, with our house left up side down in the meantime. An unsatisfactory and frankly insulting paltry discount was offered and rejected. We eventually settled on a slightly higher but still unsatisfactory discount.Overall, whilst we are happy with the wardrobe, the whole experience was pretty appalling and I would NOT recommend.
Rob helped me to sort out the delivery issues with my parcel.After multiple failed attempted deliveries, Rob eventually arrived at a solution and my parcel was delivered to the intended recipient which saved me from additional costs had it not been delivered in time.His professionalism and ability to get to the bottom of the situation quickly exceeded my expectations.Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended.
Brilliant service by the delivery man John , he is extremely helpful and brings out big heavy boxes all the way to our stock room , unloads them and packs them safely for us. He has also moved boxes for us so that we have more floor space that we are thankful for . Also a friendly smile and quick flying chat that is great to have. Gls are a great company to deal with and pick their drivers carefully as we have also had a great experience.
It's the 3rd time I've ordered some food from Britishstoreonline.co.uk using GLS ( well I didn't chose GLS but they chose this company, I don't know why?)The first 2 deliveries in December & January was delivered on time, no issues.The 3rd time i.e this month (I buy food monthly from this website) I got an email from Britishstoreonline that GLS delivered at the wrong address! It's the 3rd time they're delivering to my address ( it's the same address. I haven't moved house!) & they deliver it at a wrong address. I'm sure they delivered at a wrong address on purpose just to p*** me off! What is their problem? Bunch of losers.They're paid to do their job CORRECTLY.The delivery was due for last week ( they did deliver on Thursday but at the wrong address on purpose probably) & as of today Monday the 7th of March I still haven't recieved my parcel and don't know if I will?Avoid this British delivery company i.e GLS. I'm thinking about pressing charges against them!
GLS is a formidable delivery company I have engaged and received parcels from several times and I can vouch for their excellence. The standout driver remains KENNEDY who was always very courteous, friendly and handled my parcels with utmost care. I will always remember him when I see any GLS van. Overall, GLS is a prompt delivery company.
