What a terrible company. A parcel we were waiting on for Christmas arrived in GLS Dublin on 14th of December and was only delivered on the 29th. 2 weeks to drop a parcel from one part of Dublin to another is simply not acceptable. We had to make alternative arrangements at the last minute for my sons Christmas present when it became obvious that these jokers were going to let us down. If I could give no stars I would
Horrible experience, my order was to be delivered before Christmas, with no warning or apology GLS had my parcel at their office from 22nd - 29th. This was meant to be a Christmas gift. How do you guarantee a delivery before Christmas and hold the parcel till almost the new year? No one should have to go through this. Do not use GLS.
"Gls are not the best"Really terrible experience with this company and will be avoiding all on line stores that use GLS from here onPrósNice customer service 9am to 5pm monday - fridayService desk should be open same hours as delivery drivers though. If i had a point of contact at 7.30pm, then it would have been easy to rectify the drivers mistake but had to wait until 9am the following morning. I suggest that you hire two extra part time staff to man the phones from 5pm to 8.30pmCons-EMAIL ME AM TO SAY MY PARCEL WILL BE DELIVERED TODAY. NO TIME FRAME AND IT WAS 7.30PM BY THE TIME DRIVER MARKED MY NON DELIVERED ITEM AS DELIVERED-Fake delivery updates- my parcel was not delivered and marked as delivered in track + trace-drivers dont knock the door-drivers dont get a signature or verify the identity of recipient. -driver didnt respond to tell me exactly where he left parcel. Gls company policy is 3 days and he didnt respond or call me back within that time frame. IMAGINE IF YOU HAVE A VALUABLE PACKAGE SITTING SOMEWHERE FOR 3 DAYS BEFORE THE DRIVER HAS TO RESPOND-customer must do all the leg work trying to find missing parcel-Drivers ar liable to drop your delivery to any property in the area. Its common practice. That was probably ok in the 80s and 90s but times have changedThey simply dont careTough luck if your package was lost
Probably one of the worst courier services in Ireland. My parcel was supposed to arrive on 21st of December. Its the 23rd now and its still not delivered, emailed twice - no answers. Called 3times - nobody picked up. Shop app doesnt provide their locations on GPS and the "shipping details" provided are a joke. This is the first time I have had to deal with such abomination of a service and my hopes of getting my delivery until christmas are gone. Will have to look out for GLS in the future when online shopping and choose something else. God awful.EDIT: suddenly got an automatic reply to my email, will see where this goes.CASE NUMBER #00028244, waiting for an additional email.
This policy is not worth the paper it is printed on. I have been told that according to my warranty I would receive £500 towards the cost of my car repairs. I have now been informed by the garage repairing my car, that the garage will only receive £320 off the policy, as the AA pay another company the £500 and they take their share before giving the rest to the garage. Which is NOT what it says in the guarantee, it states you will receive the £500, NOT a share of it. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Worst experience I’ve had in the 50 years I have been driving. My car has been stuck in the garage for over a week, and I need my car to as my wife is disabled.

Very poor customer experience today with the AA having been a member for a good proportion of recent years. Purchased the premium under the above policy to cover a vehicle which required an MOT but the garage was so busy due to Covid that the vehicle missed the missed the MOT deadline by a matter of days. I wasn't driving the car and so its next journey was to the garage for the MOT. I tried to start the car from the home driveway but it would not start. I called the AA to discover that despite the MOT deadline being missed through no fault of my own, there was no option of a patrol coming out but there was no problem putting it on an AA low loader for a £100 charge to the garage to undertake the MOT. The car arrives and the garage diagnose the fault as a timing chain problem. No worries I think (foolishly) because I have my Parts and Labour policy. I call them up to learn that because a patrol had not seen the vehicle, the policy would not be usable. Absolutely wonderful. Despite explaining that I had no reason to report a fault pre: MOT deadline - the fault came to light only post the deadline, there was zero understanding but plenty of assertion that I had nowhere to go with them. Unfortunately, it is the old adage with insurance/warranty providers that you only find out how good they are when you need to claim. I have learnt my lesson. Membership to be cancelled - probably to someone who might offer the same but could it be worse? It is obviously too late for me but maybe this can inform others. Please avoid.

Spent week arguing with some young idiot who only wanted to stop the claim at any cost wouldn't accept dealer service history had to go to the dealers my self and get a print out of every penny spent at lancashire ford to prove what service book said was true tried saying he was an engineer but didn't have a clue when I told him timing belt had got oil on from the leek and needed changing from this then had to prove that timing belt had been changed before in a previous service so back to lancs ford for proof even though stamped and dated in service history tried to complain to customer services and they didn't want to know 16wks later getmy car back absolute joke never again with these clowns please go else where if your thinking of this g.webster
